Great video Mike! Is it possible to have a bunch of videos in Stream in my M365 tenant and then embed them on my public website as a playlist for others (perhaps during a workshop) to see? I can see this being helpful for presenters who don't want to post to youtube but want to take advantage of all of the new Stream Features for private viewing by an audience not directly in their organization.
Only seems to default to my laptop camera, which I dont use as I have my laptop hooked up to a large monitor with a Logitch 920 webcam mounted on it, and the laptop remains closed on the back of my desk. I cant find any way to change which camera it's using, so this unfortunately won't work for me. Anyone know of a way to change the camera source?
I'm very confused by Microsoft's messaging. I thought stream was being killed so I stopped using it. Now it's back alive again? This is like Paint all over again. Next they'll be spawning different streams of stream like they did with Teams and OneNote (one note... should have been called "many notes"). Anyway, rant over. Thanks for this. I have been educated.
Stream was not killed. The messaging, at least from my point of view was clear: they wanted to reign-in on data usage. By eliminating Stream Classic, they saved tons of money in costs, consolidated code on a single platform (Sharepoint) and had a chance to redesign the entire thing. In short, some gains for users and lots of gains for Microsoft.
Great, but still less functional in some areas than old version of Stream. In particular, need to rebuild my old videos with quizzes. These are unavailable and this feature was flagged for end of Q4 2023...
We have O365 at work, through Enterprise licensing. Stream screen recording is limited to 15 seconds. Is this restriction being set by the company? Thanks
Playlist - if you share the playlist with people that dont have access to the movie will not get the playlist to work until you give them access to the files in the list.
Thanks for sharing all your knowledge, Mike. I love the simplicity of your videos. Keep up the good work, so that we can learn quickly. 👏
Great video! Very informative and easy to follow.

We don’t support anonymous embeds at this time. But you can vote on it in the ideas forum.
How do you view the mouse pointer - during a screen recording?
Do you think the teleprompter will be available in Teams? Many of our interviews are facilitated in a Teams Meeting.

How do you go back and edit the video after you click finish in screen record
How do you convert the file from Webm to mp4?
LOL - TPS reports, I hope you have the new header for those (Office Space movie)
In the first 9 or 10 seconds of your video, you are shown with basically a green screen effect. Can that be done using Stream?
Somewhat, with their new recorder
What about Go Live using Streams now
Why is the screen recording limit 15 minutes max - Seems very limited.

When you choose entire video, why the little video doesn’t appear anymore?!
