- Welcome to the final episode of the green circuit series!
In this episode, we automate every science, get mad at plastic production repeatedly, and hit 1 million green circuits!
Thank you so much for watching!

I can't believe you went the entire game without Assembling Machine 3s, you absolute madman
Didn't need them! lol
I cant believe he went the entire game with swapping coal fuel out for solid fuel, that stuff is great
Yeah I'd rather just skip straight to using electric furnaces
Or are you talking about steam production?
@@DocJade I think he means train fuel
@@empxrubix9387 trains had nuclear fuel in requester chests
So I just binged this entire series without any breaks. Took me until episode eight or so to realize you only have 2k subs. Based on the quality of the video's I assumed you were a wayyyy bigger creator. Keep it up man :)
one month later and 5K more ppl subbed :)
I gritted my teeth and watched the rest of the series - Well worth it, even though i can never say "let me just do this real quick" ever again
👍
👍
Like others, I pretty much binged the series in quick succession. There's a noticeable uptick in the quality of the videos, narration, humour, etc. as the series goes on, which is really cool to see. Great work!
Here's some fun statistics about the final world!
FInal train station count: 521
Final train count: 172
Building statistics:
104K Walls built
88K Rails built
78K Red belts built
34K Yellow belts built
31K Lamps built
Total playtime: 91 hours and 53 minutes
Feel free to ask me questions about the world!
WHY DID YOUR ROCKETS NOT HAVE PROD 3 :(((
Because I needed to consume the green circuits!
228 SPM was the calculated goal, but with prod 3's, consumption of green circuits would have dropped 15%, so I would have needed to make 283 SPM instead
@@DocJade ok I accept it, it makes sense, and by the way HOW MANY TRAINS WERE THERE, thanks for the entertaining hours this series has bringed me ❤❤❤
172 trains at the end :)
acan we have the world save please? i would like to study your base set up
This base is so inefficient, I love it
your dialogue is just top tier , hands down what keeps me invested for the whole 32 minutes of a video , you're a geniu Doc
This has being, by far, the most chaotic factorio gameplay i has ever seen since factorio went into early access and i started playing it back almost 10 years ago.
However, here we are... I saw the entire series from beggining to end. New subscriber for you.
So long and thanks for all the fish buddy.
I don't watch much Factorio content, but this video caught my attention. Everything from the thumbnail to the massive building process kept me engaged throughout the video. You kept attention to detail and a clear explanation of what was going on, both informative and entertaining. The video was well-edited and had a great pace, making it easy to follow along even for someone like me who's not an expert in the game. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the content and would definitely like to see more!
You've definitely earned a subscription.
-I really like how your wall looks on the minimap. I wonder if that was intentional. I am inspired to decorate my own wall blueprint a bit now.
-What didn't look good was the speed modules in the rocket silo. I get that it's for the challenge goal of consuming green circuits, but that still hurts.
-I have never seen someone wire every single belt piece to make the science sushi belt. A single combinator can function as a memory cell and keep track of it, but whatever works works and wire is free.
-I really like these kind of unique concept series. Dosh Doshington has a few as well. This is almost a "no module" challenge, which I have wanted to try ever since Dosh did the "burner everything", but there was always something else I wanted to do first.
Thanks! It was on purpose! I thought the curves would look cool, glad you like them :)
Yeah, I should have jus stuck with the 2 silos :P
I didn't want to dive too deep into it at that moment (lots of late night play sessions) but I definitely want to look into combinator logic more!
Thanks! I wanted something basic, but still cool enough to get me back into the habit of content creation. As for no modules, I basically never used them for a super long time, I always preferred just building a bigger factory! So I've definitely done no module runs before, just not intentionally.
@@DocJade Loved the series, crammed them all in one sitting! Thanks.
With the silos, you'll save a LOT of resources with 4 prod3s in the silo, and surround with speed3 beacons. Highly recommend.
The googling synonyms for Anyway gag was brilliant. “Nevertheless…”
Incredible series! From episode 1 it was clear you were a cut above the average letsplayer - and by episode 10, your humor, editing, charisma, etc. are as good as any million-sub creator I’ve seen. (And not many of them are based enough to casually slip in a shoutout to NJB and regular allusions to the crimes of the United States Government, either 😂)
Keep doing you, you madman - you deserve great success.
This is the first series I've seen from you, and to see such a polished letsplay of a dense game like this is really impressive, let alone it being your first on youtube!
Amazing work
Just watched the whole series in a sitting or two, it was wonderful to watch your Factorio skills grow over the nearly 100 hours of playtime. I also noticed a huge improvement in the commentary between the first and last episode, you’ve definitely perfected the dry humor in a way that feels fun and unique (hoping for a Killdozer joke/reference in the near future). Subbed and looking forward to watching your channel grow, you are going to make it big, guaranteed!
Man I really loved this serie! Your edits are amazing, I was really bummed to see this serie end. I hope to see more goofy stuff like this! Thank you for all this great work!!
Clearing your inventory and placing the armor in the chest at the end was a beautiful touch :)
Really enjoyed this series-thanks! Looking forward to what's next. 😊
This series has been an absolute blast! Really looking forward to the next one!
Absolutely loved this, this is what i wanted from a factorio series, cant wait for more!
That butter bit went above and beyond, criminy. I wasn't ready.
Epic ending. Thank you so much for this very entertaining series :)
Everything has an end and a beginning new series incoming lesgo
i loved this series!!! even though i binged it really quickly, i'll already miss it :( i appreciated the longer last episode
Made me crack up with your jokes this ep great video
This was a real fun series to binge - I'm excited for what you get up to next!
Sad to see this series finished, but I can't wait to see what comes next!
Man this series inspired me to finally start my first playthrough of Factorio!
Great job with this :)
Great series Doc! Can't wait to see what else you get up to
Thank you very much for the series! It was a joy to watch and it seems like your discord invite link is broken.
Thanks for letting me know! I've updated the description links, and I'm working on the one in my bio right now :)
love the narration!
Great stuff! I binged the whole series!
Just found this series and your channel, may have watched all 10 episodes in 3 days 😂. Love it
Great great series. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
Really enjoyed this series! cant wait to see what you do next!
I loved every episode of the series, Thank you keep going♥
91 hours to finish the tutorial, nice time.
I love the mini history lessons throughout the videos
After googling synonyms for anyways i started setting up military science... 4:48 best segway ever
That's some amazing production value right here
Saw this in my suggestions (always great to see Ep 10 before Ep 1), watched it with interest. Fun video, great editing and commenting on what is going on. Saw that you were on 2.420 subscribers only and could not accept that. Have my sub, sir. Will look through your other videos now and fight off the urge to start Factorio, where I get confused as soon as trains get introduced.
Watched all in 1 day! Thanks for the great content keep it up!
The scoliosis joke caught me completely off guard.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Subscribed after watching this and the One Wagon. There's one particular person who enjoys the Factorio content, but damn is it good.
i love it, the small cell look so fun to use,
2 tips to improve you train,
First, make a cell full a rail and "ready to use" train you can add fuel to the blueprint, the bot will delivered it directly, make a few fluid train a 20 normal one, and you just have to activate them, I also like keep a sample of each of my train to copy the setting quikly.
Second, make a cell inside a lake, then build some station to get "offshore pump" to "pump", to" fluid wagon", with no pipe in the way, it take a few second to fill a wagon, one cell is enough for all your water need even with nuclear.
Great series, was very enjoyable! (Including the secret hints to anglo-saxon imperialism, lol).
I have one question, tho. Why you never upgraded to assembling machines 3?
I usually play without them, yes they're a tad more efficient energy wise, but if I used them everywhere I wouldn't have needed so many grid cells, which wouldn't look as cool
but 98.5% of the time, I just forget they exist lol
Would love to see this continue further
thanks for all the effort and editing, this series was a blast, you earned a sub
your nuclear design may have a bottleneck in the heat pipes, this will reduce the theoretical power output when working at max capacity, in a test world i was stress testing a "usual" nuclear design and the heatpipes couldn't keep up... I came to the wall of heat decay... it's a pretty nasty formula, but basically, the more heat exchangers you have connected to a heat pipe line, the shorter it needs to be to keep above 500°C on the last exchanger
Yeah I call out the design for being terrible a few times
def sub-optimal, didn't know much about heat distribution when I built it
That doorbell sound effect towards the end didn't get my dogs. But it got me. I have really good headphones...
Great job
Loved the series.
Can't wait for next series
I love how in *every one* od your videos, military science always gets neglected in some way
A nice edited megabase factorio recommended video, this is a good day.
I really like your content. A new series like this would be very nice.
muy buena serie amigo!! es impresionante el trabajo que te tomaste para hacer semejante serie. Felicitaciones! sobre todo por la paciencia para jugar tanto tiempo!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the series. Thanks allot ^^
Great video! Loved the series and looking forward to the next one! Just out of curiosity, what was the science per minute when you hit the 1 million mark?
ratios were built for 228, but it varied per science pack :)
Holy shit this video is dense in a good way
GG! I’ve voted for krastorio two in the poll. A very entertaining series, it is always fun having 1:1 trains, zooming around like crazy.
Congrats. I hope things are going better for ya now.
Gotta say, savage Amazon worker sting.
My brother in christ how can you make a rocket without filling the silo in Prod3 modules. A true madlad
just finished the series loved it. now on to the krastio series. gonna play is soon to
Great serie, ty :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
This guys computer had to have come from NASA
By the way, making fuel with light oil is more efficient.
Absolutely loved the series, did not love UA-cam insisting that 360p is fine for Factorio videos despite my excellent internet. What the heck UA-cam?
They've started setting videos to lower quality by default, even on desktop!
I constantly have to change the resolution manually...
drives me nuts
I've just watched the entire series and honestly it was quite entertaining, but I for the life of me cannot find the outro song that played at the end here
Planet Dob OST- how do you think?
ua-cam.com/video/u3w4FCTcfME/v-deo.html
It's a banger isn't it?
:)
Great serie! Hope you will sleep well now :D
I don't understand why he didn't go for assembling machine 3 and beacons, the base could have been so much more efficient with 2 fairly minor changes that are a staple in normal megabases
10:31 literally shaking
Good video
Furnaces on a train... Wow...
I came for factorio, I stayed for the quippy political commentary
make sure you use PROD 3s at the rocket my dude, saves tons of resources
If I used productivity, the rest of the base would have needed to scale up past 1 million green circuits
Its there for a reason :)
Could you try to finish Space Engineers with Krastorio 2 and 248k and some QoL Mods ? :D Would be nice to see your designs :P Would appreciate if you would create a blueprint book for your projects. :D
Loved this project.
Nice, now do it in marathon.
Please more factorio, 1m red circuits next time
hi! what size are these city block modules? seems like a perfect size, as a lot of blueprints are too big-would you mind sharing your blueprint?
Rail grid book I used:
factorioprints.com/view/-MFIYLSH60wmZ-pNvcL_
Grid is made of "2 > Straight 4 way intersection" and "2 > Straight"
I just realised u use the same roundabout as me. What a coincidence
26:20 Let's not talk about a Geneva convention in a game best described as "Pollution and genocide simulator" ^^'
I noticed your station names have no words in them. Are the red and green squares used to indicate if it's a load or unload station?
Yep! I think it looks pretty :)
It's time to come back, ThrowingSpoon.
SHHHH THEY DONT KNOW
JEEEEEEEEEB
i wonder if I can play a *little* Factorio in between oni frustrations...
Это шикарно
I have all the achievements, except 4. I have no idea how but I have There Is No Spoon but not Iron Throne 3, Computer Age 3, Mass Production 3, and Minions.
Are these easily obtainable after the rocket launch? I dont really play after that.
10/10
Nice
Im late, but are you not using productivity modules in the labs?
acan we have the world save please? i would like to study your base set up
Seems like someone's been watching Zach Freedman lately... at the time of the recording ~8 months ago that is
how do u make your spiders go for multistage walks?
aka not a striaght line?
wiki.factorio.com/Spidertron_remote
Move commands can be queued by using SHIFT + Left mouse button with the remote in the map view or in the world. Queuing move commands allows creating complex paths for the spidertron.
Congrats on the incredibly efficient and minmaxed mega base, one question, is it possible to make biters go extinct?
Technically its possible from a gameplay perspective:
The map isn't infinite, its 2 million x 2 million
so killing all of them is possible in that sense
but
Factorio needs to have the entire map loaded at once,
and you would need literal supercomputer to just hold the map in memory
You can use console commands to disable new biter generation, then either kill all existing ones through combat or with another console command.
The non-cheating way is a bit more complicated. First you must clear your entire pollution cloud and make sure it doesn't spread further than what you have cleared. Then you need to count chunks out from the furthest you have ever gone. I don't remember the exact count, but factorio will spawn bases in the darkness some number of chunks away but not further. Then you need to clear all biters in that area remotely either with spidertrons or artillery or a combination. Not with yourself since that will spawn more chunks. Then as long as you are not spawning new chunks all biters will be gone without cheating.
Big
First vidéo of your Channel i watch
Won't be the last tho :) your funny keep going
insert heavy complaining about light oil solid fuel here
Wait... You use speed modules in your rocket silos? Whyyyy not productivity modules?
I needed to hit a certain amount of rockets per minute, so I had to use speed modules instead of productivity modules to nail the ratio correctly
neat
