  • Fresh Life Church: Pastor Levi Lusko preaches from Malachi on why we live with self-sabotaging tendencies and how to address them. Discover that you don't need to walk unsure of your worth, scarred, and scared, because God, through the work of Jesus, has made you better than that. Looking to the One who treasures you and made you His own leads to wholeness, healing, and a heart overflowing with generosity.

My son had turned from the truth. He says he doesn’t believe in god anymore but I don’t believe that. I think he just doesn’t want to follow the “rules”. I’m trying to live by example: being loving and kind to him but ever since he’s made this declaration he’s been distant from me. He’s been more disrespectful and rude. My heart is broken but I will pray he’ll come back. Please pray with me. His name is Shea. Pray for his dad too. He also does not believe. His name is Jim

That sounds a lot like me a few years ago. Keep praying for him. I had rejected God and believed He doesn't even exist. My mom never stopped praying for me. Now not only do I believe, but my heart is on fire for Jesus. I strive to have a better relationship with my mom and to sink my roots deeper into the faith.

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for this woman's son and I pray for my son too. Lord 🤲 deliver them back to you. Remove the condemnation, remove the hardened hearts and the deceptive lies they have chosen to believe. Draw them close to you, heal them from self sabotage and low self esteem, deliver them from speaking wrong words out loud over themselves too. In Jesus precious name, we love you Lord and trust you for an outcome that will reflect your mercy, grace and compassion. Amen

I needed this. Have been sober for 10 years and have indulged these last few months. The shame. The disappointed. Please pray for me.

This is absolutely Holy Spirit infused! This sermon is packed with Biblical counsel! I told my husband it has done more in my life than if I went to a counselor for over a year! The Holy Spirit truly is our Counselor! Thank you! ❤

Hey Melanie, I can tell you what I am trying to help someone with right now. When this person gets stressed out, they self sabotage. She goes back to a guy that is toxic. He treats her like crap. It is almost like deep down she doesn't feel worthy or something. She is on the cusp of doing something great in her life, as she gets closer and the work gets hard instead of buckling down, she runs back to this "dude", then it gives her a reason to complain....Oh this is so hard, I am so tired, etc.... and things go down hill. Almost like a self fulfilling prophesy. She makes the bad news come true. So, her behaviors, which she for sure knows better. In general, in people, I mostly see this happen as a reaction to stress, or some huge opportunity that scares them or deep down they seem to feel not worthy or something. I am NOT a professional, just giving you an observation from a dad POV.
