watching this video when you are half around the world makes you enjoy every glimpse of this spectacular video... makes me so proud calling myself a Namibian... I wish that every world traveler sets foot in Our Beautiful Motherland at least once... Dankie Grant!.. Luderitz Buchter.
To think that an African nation would have all of this and a great social environment, a sophisticated and civil society with a stable government and fast internet connectivity, Namibia truly is a great land of Contrasts!
So beautiful and sensitively shot. I was in many of those places in 1986 and I recall them as wonderous places to see but seeing them this way, from the air, adds another layer. I hope the tourist board sees what you've done here. Very enticing.
@grant - this is an amazing video you've shared, I'm from Namibia and it sure gave me goosebumps to watch this. The music you've mentioned is from BENSOUND, could you be more specific with the genre or actual music clip used with this? Thanks!
Hi Grant, I like this amazing vedio of Namibia form above- really cool! Actually I'm going to Namibia soon and I'm planning to take my DJI phantom with me, just wondering do I need to get special persimmon from Namibia official like CRAN (Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia) - I'm not sure if it is ok to use drone in national parks? Look forward for your reply, Chunjing
By my understanding drones in Namibia are completely unregulated, so it should be fine scenes you can take pictures in national parks the same applies to drones with cameras. (i Hope this answered your question)
Drone shouldn't be allowed anywhere except for public emergencies or certain business applications. Those contraptions take away from nature for anyone around other than the people who are profiting from it. Don't bring it outside in nature where people are trying to enjoy air without mechanical noises and buzzards filming them. Locusts of the sky ,disgusting
Hi! I'm planning a trip back there soon with my drone and was wondering where you got the permit for the national parks from and how much it was. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
So, if we wish to travel to Namibia, or anywhere in the world, we need to rent a canoe and paddle there because airplanes are "disgusting", and destroy enjoyment of nature?

Johan Flanders Why do you find this so hard to believe? Is it because of your internalzed conception of Black people as somehow inferior to others?

It is strictly forbidden in the national park to fly drones!
Meanwhile, you will be severely punished.
