This is a damn good car at around RM170k for the Extended Range model at 640km ! With superb ride (NVH), high strength body cage, dual front massage seats, 11 Infinity speakers, ambient lighting, frameless doors, UV glass roof, that Porsche look, electric rear spoiler, etc., I will buy and recommend this car instead of the basic Ora Good Cat.
Saw this car on the road the other day and it got me confused for a while because as far as I remember it has yet to be launched. Then I saw the registration plate lol
Frankly, I see buyers of electric cars in Malaysia as buying it as a life choice, and not really to save the environment or anything like that. If they were really that keen on saving the environment, they would be lobbying the government to impose strict environment measures and ban or slow the down the production of petrol engine cars. For example, for every electric vehicle on the road, there is maybe a dozen of more of the basic cheap Perodua Axia which was specifically designed and marketed by Perodua to encourage the lower income group to shift from motorcycles to cars, and along the way, spewing out more petrol engine emissions which comes from a bigger engine and heavier mass for the engine to move. Isn't this the typical Malaysian government not knowing what the left hand is doing from the right hand?
how to be tree hugger in malaysia where over 70% of electricity is generated via non renewable energy? We are still highly rely on fossil fuels and coal as main source of energy. another shocking news, battery making required rare earth and the weight on battery on Ev will impact on the tyres hence produces highly toxic chenical in the air, far worse than Carbon Dioxide.
All EVs in generally are harsher to environment be it material source, usability, repairability, maintenance or infrastructure to support this ecosystem. Just see the batteries, tires and the manufacture byproducts. Not the mention the cost to build it. EV is a lifestyle, to boost econonic spending but propagated as a pro-ESG. So far I've not seen it to solve a problem that a conventional car cannot already do.
I see Adrian, I click ❤
it's so good-looking though 👏👌
