as someone whos two favorite decks have been scrap and then earth machine i could totally see myself playing the hell out of this deck. even though this vid came out a month ago ur commentary on the current meta is really accurate lol people are playing upwards 15 ht to stop duodrive. right now i feel like its really hard to build a traditional earth machine deck that can keep up with that
Probably my favorite em variant ive seen with the clockwork knight. Sadly it doesn't contain my favorite em variant infintracks, but the theory looks solid.
Nice decklist! I am part of the no unclaspare team with vernsylph & co but this decklist is actually pretty good. I also tested using rabbit with statue instead of fiendsmith and it works fine too. Why no urgent schedule tho? You can bring recycler and citadel, knight and summon back recycler, or you can go knight and than sp for a free banish
Thank you! Rabbit is definitely an alternative, you trade one interruption for having more utility with more 3 extra deck slots and 1 main deck slot. One thing to be cautious about is silhouhatte rabbit can't be in defense position and can not be destroyed by battle, making it risky into tenpai. I am not a fan of urgent schedule this format because I find it is lower impact than drawing a handtrap going second (which is what you would need to take out to run it), it will rarely win you the game where as a handtrap might. Going first it does nothing, where as hand trap is an extra interruption. If you let most deck set up their board the urgent becomes irrelevant/negated anyways.
@GruntledUdder I get it, I'll prob stick with rabbit tho. With the flex spots in extra I use an IP and avramax, if you start with too many resources there is not much to do, like continuous spell (for jet, I don't remember its name) or redeployment + recycler. Or recycler + clock or foolish goods. There is not much else to do. You can instead go rabbit + ip, getting rabbit S/T pop and then go into avramax for tenpai matchup or SP for everything else. I decided to side urgent schedule for going second and a single copy of regulus. When you are sure to go first you can side in regulus and search it with clock in order to have a free omni
@GruntledUdder I get it, I'll still stick with rabbit tho. With the extra deck spaces you can use IP, SP and avramax. I noticed that this deck plays well under interruptions but cannot add anything to the standard end board if your opponent doesn't handtrap you. Any combination of recycler + extender doesn't add much. With the extra resources you can instead go Rabbit, IP, varudras. In the opponent's turn summon statue for a S/T pop with rabbit and then link with IP into avramax for the tenpai matchup, or SP for everything else. Avramax is great into tenpai, azurune also pops the attacking monster when destroyed by battle. Clock on field is also great against tenpai since they all become machines. I also sided urgent schedule for going second and a single copy of regulus for going first. When you are sure to go first you can side in regulus and if you see clock, you can have a free omni.
The fact you need to give up 15 cards for some unfun bullshit like that is genuinely unacceptable. There has got to be a change in the way konami runs this game.
well without handtraps it's just diceroll, you win if you go first because you can just make an unbreakable board free of any interruption. Sure everyone could play boardbreakers but that just disadvantages whoever goes first because they can just brick on a bunch of cards they can't use turn 1 and can't use on their opponents turn either. You genuinely can't take handtraps out of this game without banning literally every single busted combo in it.
Please never stop with earth machine videos ☝🏼 Make earth machine great again.

Great deck.. very interesting to see how different it is to other earth machine decks too.
Great take
Keep up the good work

any updates to the deck?
Is there not a line to get into D/D/D Wave High King Caesar or Varudras, the Final Bringer of the End Times before your 5th summon?

Also, rabbit is great against fuwaloss. Fiendsmith isn't
I also swapped sky palace something for genius. The extra utility is pretty useful dealing with floodgates since it's immune to S/T
Does the deck get more endboard if more extender in hand?
