This reminds me of the first karate kid movie when Mr. Miagi (idk how to spell it, sorry) makes the kid do all of his around the house work. Eventually the kid gets tired of all of the work and asks what it was for. The sanding of of wood floor was to block straight punches, the painting of the house was to practice blocking side kicks and punches, the standing in the bow of the boat was to practice balance, and the waxing of the cars was to block normal kicks. So when we ask God for strength, we mix our moms batter or dough, when we ask for knowledge and wisdom we read our bibles and study, and when we ask for patience, we put our phones down and observe. ( I’m not saying I do all of these things yet, it is something that I am attempting to improve on, nor am I saying that we can never use our phones again, or go wax our cars to learn how to block kicks, just an example) God bless!
