Basically, Abigail had a husband called Nabal on which David sent his men to ask for him to give them offers because they have protected Nabal's men. Nabal then was rude in response, so David wanted to kill him and his men. Thanks To God, May He Be Praised, Abigail heard from one of Nabal's workers and men that King David was planning to kill him for his response. So Abigail gathered alot of offers and met up with King David when him and his men were almost reaching Nabal. So she made the offer as forgiveness and King David gave them mercy, and accepted their forgiveness. After Abigail told Nabal about what happened, he became paralized and died.
