Magnus, thank you for a such informative video. It has helped so much. Would like to ask you to make a video about what unnecessary files we can delete from SMS server to free some disk space. For example some unnecessary logs or files which left after jumbo fixes installation etc. Thank you.
Thats a nice tool, I used it in the pass to reset an expert password of a sg :) @magnus, I have a question regarding the ccms certification and would like to know if you can help with some information, I've reviewed all your videos on mds (very useful information btw) , reviewed the 81.10 mds admin guide, R81.10 log admin guide, R81.10 release notes, the oficial Training Data Sheet for the ccms course and sk ATRG: Multi-Domain Security Management R8x. Do you have some other suggestion about other learning sources/materials that could help with the ccms certification? Regards.
Hi, So the course include labs for. Install, Explore and implement normal MDS. I think thats the parts i have done so far within the youtube serie if am not misstaken. Ontop of this there is also about MGMT HA. Global Policys Migrating from SMS to MDS. Integrate SmartEvent to MDS And in general i would say VSX and MDS goes together, its included in the Multi-domain security managment specalist atleast. I have not taken the exams myself and i think its hard to find usefull info to actually study, this is why i made videos for youtube from start :)
@@MagnusHolmberg-NetSec Thank you very much for your response :) I'm focusing more on the mdsm side and already did all that lab tasks, the only task I didn't do was the failure recovery (promoting a secondary mds server to primary and installing a new secondary server), I will try to give feedback next week after the exam.
@@ivanleonardo for the VSX part i believe within the mds certificate they only talk generally about the interaction between the mds and vsx with MAIN vsx and that you can have VS from a central VSX in the CMA so there is no need to have one VSX per CMA. So generally about things about it. Nothing in dept because that would be within vsx exam. So focus on what makes MDS unique compare to normal sms
@@MagnusHolmberg-NetSec Thanks again, I've also checked your first videos on vsx and included also a vsx cluster (2 nodes vsls) in my lab(proxmox/kvm), but I only explored the basic, added some vs to some dms and did some domain and global policies(also global vpn community). If i pass the ccms exam maybe I will try the ccvs next year :)
@@MagnusHolmberg-NetSec I've passed the ccms :) Thank you very much for your videos on mds! I would like to give you credit and would like to cross reference you on Linkedin.
@@maheshb6995 I don’t have access to any zscaler but I guess both of them need to be configure as you normally do for connection to 3party vendor, so make sure all settings match
