Hi Magnus, can you please share with us one video for Zscaler GRE configuration on checkpoint firewall. I don't found any video for GRE configuration on checkpoint firewall 😢
Could see if you're using appliances using the dashboard upgrade process. However if you're using open servers would suggest not, OR to have a much more detailed validation process to check items like the /etc/sysconfig/00-ANACONDA.rules & /etc/udev/rules.d/00-OS-XX.rules for pcie/mac/interface naming which can get swapped. Also if you do other customizations such as fixing SSH cipher & kex (to make the firewall more secure out of the box) not to mention SSL cipher for access to the firewall web interface. In any case one should /always/ do their due diligence before an upgrade (assume a failure can happen and have what you need to recover before you start). Such as system config data; routing & interface tables; etc. That being said yes the dashboard is 'easier' however I've seen to many people (both with dashboard and the gaia upgrade web interface) do upgrades and break the environments since they assumed that nothing would go wrong. (plan for the worst, hope for the best).
Magnus Checkpoint videos are the best. I have learned a lot from them.
Great video. Thanks 4 sharing
your welcome :)
