I forgot to respond to the post asking for suggestions, but this reminds me of a channel called "the new storyteller." The Castle Cake video vibe gets to me too. It's that phenomenon where it's so bland, mundane and "everyday" it enters this weird realm of creepy, like you're watching something you're not supposed to. It's like you said, it's the anticipation that any second now the video will take a dark turn and show something horrible, but it never happens.
Not surprising to me that he found love. Weird people are more likely than you think to find love, and it can be extremely passionate. The stereotype of band kids copulating in the hallways probably exists for that reason
One UA-cam rabbit hole I'll never forget going down was looking up the puppy monkey baby commercial only to be greeted with an alarming amount of baby pet monkey videos, where the animals are dressed in human clothes and fed baby food. In some videos in the background, there's clearly tiny cages and no adult monkeys around, suggesting these animals were grabbed from the wild and dressed up for views. The worst part is usually the comments, which outright throw hate at the animals and want to see them tortured and killed. Weirder still is looking at the channels that comment this stuff they have playlists full of baby monkeys being hurt, screaming, being dropped from trees, and more insane borderline animal torture that UA-cam fully allows with 2, 30 sec. ads on their site. Honestly baffles me that for a site so concerned with appearing advertiser friendly, it can't keep any of its own standards in check for the life of it.
Thats an actual fetish this baby monley thing. I can't even begin to comprehend how this fetish works exactly, but the little I've understood so far is indeed how you describe it. People who, for some reason, like to see monkeys in these situations, lets say, peculiar. But I don't blame UA-cam, it's a very obscure fetish. I'm fascinated by strange fetishes and this one is very obscure even to me.
@@vampirecount3880 I assumed it was something along those lines. Like seeing a small helpless animal that’s vaguely human looking, especially when it’s dressed in baby clothes, being abused or suffering traumatic injuries would be something insanely disturbed and creepy individuals enjoy watching - and it being wild animals there’s the excuse of it being for educational purposes. It’s one of those things that makes you realize how bad some people are, especially online.
I feel bad for insomniac now. Imagine spending so much time on that crap just for the guy you did all of it for to be a monster. I’m just imagining him dumping massive amounts of notebooks in a field somewhere.
19:12 When I was a kid, I thought the whole "murderer with bodies buried in the backyard" thing was a joke everyone was sorta in on. I was pretty fucking baffled when I recently found out that folks genuinely believed that shit.
I searched the grandma thing and found a playlist of autopsies (among other things...) simply called "Gore", the first one was on an infant somewhere proably in Africa. Since the video us purely educational I guess it counts as "Unintentionally Disturbing".
The people who do autopsies (coroners, medical examiners, forensic pathologists, etc) know that the stuff is definitely not for everyone so the educational videos of it should be left just for the students who want to become professionals in that field. But of course some of the videos always leaks to public because some gore fans want to pay for it.
@@Pehmokettu99% sure all of those gore fans are fetishists, which makes it 10 times worse (not tryna kink shame.. but cmon man its dead bodies, you gotta draw a line somewhere)
Peckcella's videos are so cringe, man. They were cringe then and and still are now. The only thing that genuinely got me a chuckle was the "PG stands for PUUURE GRREEAAAAATNESSS!!", the way it sounds is hilarious.
Those videos and that whole time frame of “wrestling fan with a gimmick”, aged just as bad. This was a repressed memory until this video just said “hey, remember this weird shit you once watched?”

Bubba and Peckcella have actually fought face to face in one video , I’m pretty sure they’re just friends who make weird videos about wrestling, it was one of the first storylines they did with other characters conning along like Green Psycho 17 , Billy Bob Tanley , Otis , Steve the Devil and Darkness , Besty buns and more
I swear, that wrestling jester is like a weird mix between Jim Sterling, the Bjork Stalker (as you said), and Blackb0nd. I can't tell if that's a good or a bad thing, but I found that intro more funny than unsettling.
the music box music with the childish visuals was creepy, but I bursted out laughing after seeing some guy in a literal jester outfit with a goofy deep voice filter
I should add that according to uliKuz after dark (who made a vid on doodman2) he ironically hated the idea of his dolls being used for sex. I guess his passion was more akin to barbie doll making, although definitely with a more furry side to it. Still creepy imo. Thanks for using my suggestion lel
Wrestling fan here. What's crazy is that the BDF Network is still putting out videos about pro wrestling to this day and still riding the waves of the once popular Anti-Smark trend that has since faded into obscurity and aging like milk due to the edgy nature of it. It turns out the guy behind both the Peckcella and Bubba characters is also responsible for the Billy Bob Tanley character, which has garnered a cult following separate from this weird anti-smark cinematic universe that was created. There's actually a ton more characters that this guy (and a couple of his friends) plays that are all involved in a weird cross-channel wrestling style "storyline". I haven't watched his content in years because I grew out of that phase, but he was certainly fascinating to talk about.
I believe Peckcella is played by the same actor who plays Billy Bob's friend Otis (who has his own channel) and Papa 420 was another character who took over Peckcella's channel for a bit.
I didn't realize BBT made that many characters, I just found him as a guy who watched YTPs. I knew his weird Bubba character from that. I haven't really watched him for a while though, as he just started getting really miserable/negative, while at the start he seemed to really like what he was doing. Billy Bob Tanley is honestly probably a character himself made by that guy, or an exaggerated version of himself. This Peckcella character is definitely Otis.
As soon as I saw “castle cake” I thought “Dear God it’s gonna be that grey monstrosity” and I was RIGHT. This shit is burned into my the hidden recesses of my psyche, I haven’t thought about this video in YEARS
Man that Castle Cake video could have Hamburger Lady playing in the background and it not only fit perfectly, but it wouldn't even change the vibe at all.
The original poster of Agamemnon Counterpart didn't delete the original video themselves but it was UA-cam themselves that banned them out of the blue. The poster on an alternate came out saying their channel simply vanished one day and had no luck getting their channel back.
You might have missed this part but Paul explained in that first clip you showed that he put gray food coloring in his batter; that’s why his cake mix looks like cement, and since it was supposed to be a castle, that...makes sense?
It seems like you didnt do much looking into most of these, especially doodman. The guy is a very doccumented individual whos been on the internet for quite a while. His first major appearance was at a 4chan battle station thread where he single handenly scared the shit out of the entire board with his lunatic work. There are actual photos of him with the dolls and his family, and they do NOT look happy at all, in fact they later divorced and he went on a trip with his dolls for who knows how long.
Speaking of fear, it's funny how the other week I calmly and rationally caught a big spider from my bathtub and released it outside (I don't live in Australia), but every day the behavior of humans in general terrifies me more and more.
Love how the focus of this video isn't on spooky stuff but rather things that have the vibe or atmosphere of being scary. Im going to enjoy watching this on my annual Halloween videos playlist in the coming years!
My dad was really autistically into wrestling his entire life, he was 43 and still listened to podcasts constantly/played all the games and apps/used forums, so on, so forth lol
About a month ago I remembered the Great Grandma Coffin video and thinking it was just something I made up. Apparently it's real. I swear I remember it being narrated by a teenage kid talking and not an older guy using sign language but they could just be my memory since I haven't seen this video in forever
So the only thing here that got me disturbed was the brief clip of the “Aliens recreating a children’s cartoon”. I tried to figure out why I was scared by it and I think I figured it out. The clip features weird looking visuals, loud noises and flashing lights. It’s sensory overload. My mind had nothing to do but go into fight or flight mode. Once one of those aspects was taken away, muting the video, hiding the screen or pausing just to look at it, it stopped being frightening to me. (Ok it’s still a little freaky but not anxiety inducing levels of frightening)
The fact that its supposed to be an unknown force poorly trying to mimic something WE do + too much going on is just… eugh, no thank you thats enough, it gives off the same vibe as an animal/human in the background of an AI generated photo looking terrifying and off because they’re not the main focus of the image
Honestly, the idea of aliens innocently trying to recreate aspects of human culture and making them horrifying in the process is so much more scary and compelling than whatever people who make modern analog horror are trying to do.
I got scared by most of these "famous creepy videos" when I was younger, but weirdly enough, that one never freaked me out that much. The first time I saw it, I felt like it was trying too hard to be creepy, you know? And when I watch it now, I honestly find it kinda funny... It reminds me of those weird ass "21st century humor" videos.
It's a commercial and not a UA-cam video, but I feel like the chocolate man commercial from Lynx (in the UK) and Axe (in the US) is a big example of accidental horror. I felt nauseated after seeing it for the first time in a "nostalgic commercials" compilation.
That agenemon counterpart awoke some dark memories. I remember watching Gumball's safety PSA safety parody and it reminded me of something....now i remember.
One of the videos that scarred me as a kid was called "scarier faces". it was supposed to be some dumb skit prank video or something but my god....those filter horror faces gave me nightmares. I cant even look at the thumbnail for it to this day.
The first video comes from a guy called BBT Network. He mainly does reaction videos now, but back then he used to do….well that…and he was very vocal of his view on current WWE at the time. The guy doing the other character is I believe his friend Otis who appears from time to time. And the third guy who made the entire mural for Sayaka Maizono from Danganronpa is absolute madlad. She literally doesn’t even have that much screen time yet heres this guy who…did that! 😂😂
The first guy is so interesting to me, since coming from someone from lousiana. The jester hat based on the color palette seems to be a mardi gras jesterhat specifically. Potentially coulda been in the same ikea as thjs guy (though probs when i was in a stroller or the height of a wii when it was uploaded lmao)
Bro as soon as I saw the warning from Agenemon counterpart (or however you spell) I immediately went into fight or flight mode. I hate that video so much, everything about it is just so threatening and I don’t know why. But for some reason I always come back to it or it finds me. I don’t know if it’s morbid curiosity or some part of me that wants to be scared. Either way it’s a greatly made video and the warning at the beginning that has nothing to do with the video is superb
if i remember correctly, embryo wallace is an arg about embryos, life, death, birth, and probably alters or "evil versions." the whole thing about where do they come from is a reference to that and there are a few videos where its changed up, painting the whole picture about the evil babies or whatever.

I thought they had to be trolling us. You gotta intentionally screw with the white balance and exposure of a camera to make a cake look hideous regardless of the actual color. Even if it's gray, it probably looked a million times more appetising in person than it did in the video
The P. Diddy section aged interestingly.
I forgot to respond to the post asking for suggestions, but this reminds me of a channel called "the new storyteller." Was a dude dressed in a full gumby costume playing with thomas the tank engine and my little pony toys for hours on end. Weirdest part is that he sounded like if tom hardy's bane suffered a stroke. As time got on, he became harder and harder to understand.
I remember him. He's still around and uploading. It seems to me that he is quite developmentally disabled rather than a stroke victim, but it also seems like he is being well cared for by his family.
@@DavidJBurbridge Yeah. He seems to be completely harmless so I see no issue with him. Hope he's doing alright.

The Castle Cake video vibe gets to me too. It's that phenomenon where it's so bland, mundane and "everyday" it enters this weird realm of creepy, like you're watching something you're not supposed to. It's like you said, it's the anticipation that any second now the video will take a dark turn and show something horrible, but it never happens.
You should organize a boxing match between Insomniac and the UTV stalker

Highly subjective whether getting more action is good in the context of the action begotten.
I mean considering the furry community, dude is probably loaded. So I suppose it makes some sense.

The weird flamboyant mannerisms, the obsession with wrestling, the video game posters, the gunt; Peckcella is actuallu Jim Sterling.

Just want to say that using the Submerged Castle theme at the beginning was a perfect mood setter. Keep up the good work, man.
@@dcb99filmzThat makes a lot of sense, actually.

The original poster of Agamemnon Counterpart didn't delete the original video themselves but it was UA-cam themselves that banned them out of the blue. The poster on an alternate came out saying their channel simply vanished one day and had no luck getting their channel back.
What's the story of this video? I remember weeing it many years ago and never saw anyone mention it until now
You might have missed this part but Paul explained in that first clip you showed that he put gray food coloring in his batter; that’s why his cake mix looks like cement, and since it was supposed to be a castle, that...makes sense?
It seems like you didnt do much looking into most of these, especially doodman.
The guy is a very doccumented individual whos been on the internet for quite a while.
His first major appearance was at a 4chan battle station thread where he single handenly scared the shit out of the entire board with his lunatic work.
There are actual photos of him with the dolls and his family, and they do NOT look happy at all, in fact they later divorced and he went on a trip with his dolls for who knows how long.

About a month ago I remembered the Great Grandma Coffin video and thinking it was just something I made up. Apparently it's real. I swear I remember it being narrated by a teenage kid talking and not an older guy using sign language but they could just be my memory since I haven't seen this video in forever
to be honest this gives me an idea for creepy 2000s to 2010s style of horror videos to make.
No matter how disturbing the topic, I can always count on Mush Man to bring back some Donkey Kong Country clips in an amusing new context
The fact that its supposed to be an unknown force poorly trying to mimic something WE do + too much going on is just… eugh, no thank you thats enough,
it gives off the same vibe as an animal/human in the background of an AI generated photo looking terrifying and off because they’re not the main focus of the image
Honestly, the idea of aliens innocently trying to recreate aspects of human culture and making them horrifying in the process is so much more scary and compelling than whatever people who make modern analog horror are trying to do.
fun fact: that’s probably the oldest video included here. that was originally release in 2001. what the hell
I got scared by most of these "famous creepy videos" when I was younger, but weirdly enough, that one never freaked me out that much. The first time I saw it, I felt like it was trying too hard to be creepy, you know? And when I watch it now, I honestly find it kinda funny... It reminds me of those weird ass "21st century humor" videos.
that video has always freaked me out. still not as scary as 'i feel fantastic' in my opinion, lol.
It's a commercial and not a UA-cam video, but I feel like the chocolate man commercial from Lynx (in the UK) and Axe (in the US) is a big example of accidental horror. I felt nauseated after seeing it for the first time in a "nostalgic commercials" compilation.
I remember seeing that motherfucking commercial on TV as a kid.
That agenemon counterpart awoke some dark memories. I remember watching Gumball's safety PSA safety parody and it reminded me of something....now i remember.
Bro the P diddy guy dodged the biggest bullet of the century not getting noticed
The "dog cupcake" video is from a show where a dog trainer comes in & trys to get the dog to behave. Kinda like Jackson Galaxy, but with dogs.
I’m taking the risk of watching this late at night- just for the mush.

The Diddy Mr. Diddy guy can write to Diddy’s jail cell now.
That first video on the jester that hates The Rock, I thought I long since repressed that memory and was the only one that came across that.

if i remember correctly, embryo wallace is an arg about embryos, life, death, birth, and probably alters or "evil versions." the whole thing about where do they come from is a reference to that and there are a few videos where its changed up, painting the whole picture about the evil babies or whatever.
