let me just say: I dont like all this type of drama and I dont really like to pick sides usually so take whatever I say with what ever amount of salt you want. look, I dont really get the whole craze about the situation. if its legal in the country it should be fine (it follows the rules and should not be a moral debate, so not grooming but a creep), especially if they both live there. the guy should not be banned from tournaments, osu or excluded from public events. however, weird people do deserve to be treated badly (shockingly more people than you might expect are really, really weird in private) and so I dont really care what judgement the community decides to give but just keep this in mind. also, 18 year olds arent the peak of maturity and 15 year olds arent babies. you can make a case that both sides did wrong and were not taught online etiquette well. but tbh idc so Ill be in another comment section now. bye
I think that in such matters someone should not immediately take sides. but I hate when the US and the west exaggerates on issues like this. First of all, she's 15, she's not a little kid, I don't know a 15 year old who doesn't set personal boundaries. In germany kids grow WAY FASTER than in other countries, just believe me. and second, that's legally and morally okay in germany, so what's the matter? Why do people choose some kind of "objective" morality? It doesn't exist (not trying to defend his creepy and edgy messages. just trying to inform that it's not grooming and of course he's not a pedophile)
I don't want to take sides on this for this exact reason. Imho if we concider her to be a victim, then both are at fault. And if we say it's just cringy teenagers and the internet is overreacting, then there is noone at fault. This entire situation is up to interpretation. But regardless, most of what he said is creepy and weird. I think we can all agree on that.
as a german thats more fucked up edit: i think they both did somethong like this like i did smth like that too as a roleplay with my ex (adult so dw xD) and she also awnsered with one word or sentence it could be possible that she just took some screens of him being weird
In document she says "He quickly started getting more flirtatious with me after that, sending me “cutesy” memes and stuff.", implying that he was the one to start any advances in their relationship, but we don't see any screenshots of this except for that one "meme" he sent. My point was, that if he was the one to start first, she should have included that in the document, The fact that she didn't paints her in a bad light, because if she left this out, she might have left other important details out too. Should have explained that more clearly, mb

Because some worldviews support objective morality (i.e. C.S. Lewis)
