As the G7 summit is set to begin tomorrow, the United States is pushing for a $50 billion loan package to war-hit Ukraine. US National Security Council spokesperson, John Kirby said, "We will announce new steps to unlock the value of immobilized Russian sovereign assets to benefit Ukraine." The US has proposed that the repayment could be funded through the earnings from the frozen Russian assets. This comes after the Western governments froze over $280 billion worth of Russian assets, parked in Europe. This happened after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. Can Russia prevent the US from diverting its funds to provide loan to Ukraine? On Vantage tonight, Palki Sharma brings you the full story.

We used to live in Rome and my wife used to make the best Indian Pasta with loads of spices and masala. Our Italian neighbours were very upset that we have killed the very nature of Italian pasta. But after a while they started calling our pasta as Indian pasta and started loving it........

Ok your just on vacation now. You should do a traveling show of Italy. I'd watch it. As for Russia they shouldn't have started a stupid war. All countries even the U.S should have to have assets frozen if starting a war and given to the country being attacked. This would prevent everyone from going to war.

The United states needs to end the majority of it's bases and stop freezing assets.focus at home. Let the countries that are in conflict deal with it themselves. Why risk American military people and also spend money we don't have on nations that really don't care or are milking our support?
Are these Russian governments asserts or Russian citizens asserts? If it is Russian citizens asserts then we have a problem on future foreign direct investment globally because entrepreneurs won't be investing in other countries since the relations melt down might lead to business people losing their asserts.
