I am a big fan of yours and follow your discussions. In one of your discussions on your recently published book, you told that in India the Govt. has removed the periodic table and evolution and you tried to connect it to Hidutwa. It is very much wrong. The reason for removal those portions from school syllabus is only temporary and nothing to do with Hindutwa. You are right that there is a Hidutwa propaganda in some cases and at the same time it is also true that the other side is equally active if not more to connect each and everything with Hidutwa to show those as propaganda.
Actually 1/3 of the syllabus across all the subjects was removed only temporarily to reduce the burden of the school kids during covid period. During that period some significant time was lapsed before anyone could understand what should be done during lockdown and then the students were going through online classes. Hence it was difficult to complete the syllabus and govt. decided to reduce the burden following the suggestion of a committee made of academicians. Of course, there could be an academic discussion on which chapter should have been removed and which not. But it is not wise to connect this thing with politics or Hinutwa. Opposition parties and cheap youtubers can do this, but don't expect it from an academician like you. I wish next time you don't fall into the trap of propaganda of any side and before making any comment, especially on such an important topic, you go through it in detail before making any comment.
