I just got one of these from Amazon but it doesn't say Tuxing on the unit anywhere. I don't see it on yours either so I figure its a Tuxing copy. I'm thinking about sending the unit back because of that.Does yours have Tuxing on it anywhere ?
I have the same compressor, got it off Amazon UK for £240. Mine is a little different in where the buttons and fixtures are, but its a good little compressor. Only had it for a few weeks so far.
You should have bought the GX CS2 better quality powersupply with a propper ac connector for a standard cord. Mine pumps up the avenger from 1500 psi to 4350 psi in about 5.5 minutes.
Here's news that will make it better I bought mine off ebay in June of 18.. I love it still... At the time... $420 to the door.. Still was cheaper than anything branded
Had the Vevor one looks very similar, lasted 3 weeks and got refunded £160 on cost price of £218. There is no warranty, costs you £63 to send back to china of which they only refund £30.
I went with a ready air got it for 550 New No problems whatsoever runs nice and smooth a little loud though I can top off my tank back to 3600 psi in less than a minute and a half after 10 rounds with a 25 reaching almost 900 ft./s
Thanks James good info! Question I see your temp hit 79 C what is the recommended max temperature before you need to stop pumping and let cool down? Also is there any kind of a moisture trap built in to the compressor?
Hola, tengo el mismo modelo y ya hace un año que lo tengo y me funciona genial, lo conecto al coche cuando voy al club de tiro y al campo y carga genial mi arma de pcp.👍👍🤝 desde Castilla y León 🇪🇸
Hay James , I tried to go to your Amazon store to do some shopping at 1:30 pm today. There is nothing there? I got a blank screen! Did they take down your store or something else?
Good job! Thanks...the only other thing I heard, on some of these small units...Is that they tend to vibrate alot...and after 4 or 5 uses..you have to check for nuts and fittings coming loose..Do you find that problem alot ?
@@STKO2011 hey I got a question for ya. Did you get your Venturi from Pyramid? I've yet to see them in stock and I've been checking since June. Is it best I just put my order in so I'll get one (it appears they do get a shipment periodically) within the next few months? And did you have to have your mags shipped from croatia or did you find a Usa distributor for those? Thanks.
@@STKO2011 good deal. Thanks. I hope someone works out a bulk deal with that fella over there. It would work out good for everyone. I'm sure shipping a just a couple mags from over there isn't exactly cost effective lol. I might have to look into doing that.
What if i'd like to reload a 1L scuba. It would go from 180 to 300 bar?? It wouldn't be that much work for the compresor as it would go from 0. Will it work without compromising it??
You would have to watch the temperature and stop every 10 minutes or so. it's made to fill .50 half-liter tanks so if you do half let it cool down and do the other half it will be fine. Thats how I do mine.
This isn't a "review" of the compressor, it is just an ad really. Not a single word about how it performed, how it compares to similar units, whether there were any issues, its cost effectiveness, etc.
Weird intro.....on call for a hand job........Po' ole' hand pump....... 6:01 good call on drip leg. That will indeed prolong the life of the moisture filter. Firearms are under attack. The beauty of air guns and black powder guns is they are not considered firearms. Given the right airgun/black powder gun one can still have a significant level of protection. When it comes to air guns, a good electric pump like that is the difference between reasonably fast reloads and very slow reloads.
Well I love your channel but I would not recommend any Tuxing compressor to anyone. Why you ask? They do not stand by there warranty. I have a brand newTXES031 with less than one minute on it that burned the some of the motor winding wires into. I only bought it because my Vevor is getting tired & parts are hard to find for Vevor compressors. I hooked up right, oil, water pressure valve open the whole deal. I,m not new to these compressors. It was not any thing I did. But there will not even reply to my complaint. The more I have looked into Tuxing service it seems to be a pattern. I post on all air rifle forms by the name Fly. Many know me. Sorry to rain on your channel just telling it like it is. Fly
TUXING 12 volt compressors are of very poor quality, in a month of rare use the piston connecting rod burst and the drive parts were deformed, there was no lubrication in the bearing, and the electrical wiring inside was all cracked. Do not buy!!!
Got same one a year ago for emergency backup. I recommend the desiccant inline filter for water .
Slow and steady wins the race!
Nice!
Thanks James I've been looking for a compressor but didn't want to spend $700.00+ you just filled the gap thanks!
I just received my compressor today thank God you did a review on it because you surely helped me a lot thanks James 👍👍👍👍
Awesome!
Awesome sauce great review glad you made me aware of this product after I get my next PCP air gun I'll probably have to invest in a compressor
Thanks man!
Worked okay, occasionally for about 5 months.

Is your Tuxing still performing well for you? I’m thinking of making a purchase but wanted your two cents. I trust your judgement!
It stopped working after about 5-6 months...I been using GX cs1 model for past 6 months everyday and haven't had one issue filling up different guns

Great video. Got me interested in that compressor. Please Do later updates on it. I am just thinking long Term. 👍🇺🇸✌
Will do thanks!

Greg it hit 7.9° C...but it hits about 55°C Max then internal cooling kicks in to bring temp down with manual fan running

Is it necessary or recommended to use a oil/water separator such as the tuxing even though it has one built in?

Where to buy orings for maintenance? In Brazil there are no parts for this type of compressor. If you can tell me where to buy please.
Did she hold up a year later? I am considering this pump, curious to longivty.
Can i use this to fill my 2l dive tank and do i need extra filters?
is the pump still performing well and is this your main go to pump?
I just bought one. Where the 110 cord plugs into converter which one is negative & which is positive. Where mine says ac I think it N & L. Thanks
How is the connection going in the white box I can see if I have it right on my because my have three connection for electricity 😐😔😔😔
Great video James.. I found that compressor on amazon.Ca it was 599$ holy smokes So how much does amazon make 🤔? Thanks again 👍👍👊🇨🇦🇺🇸
Thanks Mike!
It's cheaper on ebay.
$339. with free shipping on Ebay.
Just ordered 1 today. And that was the total.
So it cant fill a 7 liter, or can you do it in steps?
No .6L or 600cc up to 4500psi
Hi what type are the quick release connectors on the hose
Would be great to take on a quad hunting.
Yep!
@@STKO2011 WHAT'S GOING ON ARAGON SCIENTIST DOES THAT COMPRESS A HALF A CORD WHERE TO YOU CAN CONNECT IT TO A OUTLET AT YOUR HOUSE
@@KINGBREAKBARREL yep! It connects to the transformer and it plugs into the wall
Isn't the yong heng about 320? I hear it's super reliable (easy to work on if you break it) as long as you don't get it hot and keep the moisture out?
Probably I been looking at that pump for years and went with this compressor
