"Even in exile my nephew is more honorable than you" at this point , i knew how uncle Iroh wasn't just a "comedy character" or a just a old man who loved tea
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate Dante Basco? His voice acting for Zuko was always spot on and you can hear the emotion perfectly, especially during the Agni Kai with Ozai and the reunion with Iroh during the last episode. On that same note, Iroh is so loving. There are so many times it felt like he was speaking to me, and I’m forever grateful
I agree, Dante has a unique voice and it worked perfect with the character of Zuko The Banished Prince and he was also Rufio! I was so happy when I found out it was like a bonus for me because I was a 90s kid and Hook was a fantastic movie during its time.
"After Iroh survived a lightning attack from Azula" that wasn't lightning, if you look at 9:13 that was just a blue fire blast. If that was lightning, Iroh would've died since he didn't redirect.
The speech iroh gave Zuko at 11:40 felt real. You can hear the frustration and affection in his voice as he’s yelling at him and trying to make him learn and grow. For a cartoon this was way beyond anything that was around or still is

I love house iroh loved zuko unconditionally although zuko has lashed out at uncle iroh, he knows that zuko needs someone to help him though tough times. Unlike zukos father
Searching and figuring out zuko’s true destiny saids a lot, Zuko and iroh really did show that real relationship’s fight through all that with love instead of being forced what not to love, I just wish the same thing for Azula for a different point of view.
I understand Zuko questioning his uncle when Azula wanted him to come home, I questioned my own uncle's loyalty to the nation, and stripped him of his power. We then proceeded to "Jet" him.
It's incredible the chills I feel whenever I hear Uncle Iroh revealing to Zuko that Avatar Roku is his material grandfather😱 And the picture of Uncle and Zuko reuniting in the Spirit World is💯😭❤
I love how Iroh was always there for Zuko as a father should be. Even though he wasn't Zuko's biological father he was definitely the true father figure to him.
The relationships didn’t start a little Rocky but deep gowns you called the start. He had to be tough on outside and you do have to. Sometimes we have to also let that kind sweetness out as well.
List of relationships in ATLA 1. Zuko and Iroh 2. Aang and Katara 3. Sokka and Suki 4. Zuko and Mai Blah blah blah 98. Zuko and Azula 99. Ursa and Ozai 100. Iroh and Ozai
you know what makes me sad about this story... iroh never got to meet his son in the spirit world in this show... oh dear that's probably why iroh wanted to live there... poor sir i am very sad and sorry to hear that he maybe never got to reunite with his true son....
What an utter piece of trash Ozai was, to scar his own kid and especially over something so ridiculous. I wonder how that made Ursa feel too, I don't think I'd be able to forgive the man.
It was really understandable from his eyes betraying Iroh wasn't, but wanting to claim his old life while it was offered to him on a sliver platter seems reasonable. He probably blamed his uncle for making a choice he perceived wrong. It took being home and having everything he desired to see how far it was from what he actually desired
Actually after Korra lost the connection with her past lives she and Team Avatar 2.0 decided to each write stories in a book for the next avatar. The adults also wrote in it too.
It still doesn't make sense as to why Ozai cared when Zuko wasn't even speaking directly to him even if general Iroh explained it still didn't make any sense
@@Vietmac1993 it's clear it hasn't tough. He was still respected, could return to the fire nation at any time before the incident in the north pole that made him a traitor. He was still a respected general and still a member of the royal family. He wasn't exiled like Zuko and even the banished prince had the right to for instance a personal guard. The only thing that would've led to his reputation being tarnished is the fact he's branded a traitor. But when members of a royal family commit treason they're often still treated as such while in prison. Political enemies in general. They're often forced to live in a golden cage so they stop being a threat or executed. But it's weird to keep the older brother of a king in such a dungeon (although I think he did get something of a private prison since we don't see other prisoners and the most dangerous prisoners used to be send to the boiling rock)
Zuko: Stay in the Earth Kingdom and risk getting imprisoned? Iroh: Or return to the Fire Nation and get captured by Azula? Zuko: ... Earth Kingdom it is.
If Zuko and Iroh's reunion in the Spirit World was animated, I would cry for a 100 years

I can't stop tearbending when uncle iroh and fire lord Zuko meet in the spirit world.
Now you’re making me tearbend
I’m not crying I’m just tear bending

16:30 this is my favorite moment till now. I have re watched this scene over and over again
The character development of these two in the entire ATLA series is pure gold. Seriously never seen such well written story characters. Ever.
"After Iroh survived a lightning attack from Azula" that wasn't lightning, if you look at 9:13 that was just a blue fire blast. If that was lightning, Iroh would've died since he didn't redirect.
Maybe they're referring to the lightning that Azula tried to use on the homecoming ship? That seems weird to me too
It wasnt afull ligthning but it was defently more then normal attck i think she fsiled to just made afull ligthning attck
It was definitely fire as Azula didn’t learn instant lightning until after the aftermath of the show.

Everything about their relationship brings me to tears. Iroh truly loved Zuko unconditionally.
Uncle was just too precious for himself. I just love him🥹
14:45 till this day, this moment literally blew my mind.
the only time iroh got mad at zuko was the time he called tea hot leaf juice
So true
I love house iroh loved zuko unconditionally

We need a Zuko's hair evolution
Me who’s watched this show in its entirety 20+ times: still tears up at the interactions between these two
Iroh went through so much with Zuko, I think parents watching with their kids could relate. I bet a lot of kids were compared to Zuko lol
Hard not to feel those tears of joy when you see Zuko and Iroh reunite; they’re a father and son no matter what the canon is.
I understand Zuko questioning his uncle when Azula wanted him to come home, I questioned my own uncle's loyalty to the nation, and stripped him of his power. We then proceeded to "Jet" him.
We gotta admit that we need an Iroh in ours life
Note that Zuko waited for his Uncle to wake up. In a way, Iroh was waiting for Zuko to do the sane thing..
"it wasn't that hard uncle, you had a pretty strong scent"
1:16 Really curious to how Iroh was before all of this.

Iroh is with out a doubt my favourite character for so many reasons
Even though I watched the whole series last week, I still cry when Zuko and Iroh reunite again 😭
Same. Every.single.time.
“Zuko, you have to look within yourself to save yourself from your other self. Only then will your true self reveal itself”
Its a bit Ironic the dagger Iroh got through surrender said "never give up without a fight"
Yeah
It's also the same dagger he tried to pass on to an Earth Nation boy he befriended.
Who here loves watching zuko hair grow
Me :>
I Never regret of watching this movie
It was so amazing
Whenever I see these two together and zuko breaks down and shows his heart to iroh it makes me tear up
Iroh had treated zuko like he was his own son 🔥🧡.

19:25-Fire Nation:What are your orders,interim fire lord?
Iroh: *tea*
Iroh is the man i want to be like when I'm older
Ozai maybe Zuko's father but, Iroh will always be his Daddy.
Ozai may have been Zuko's father.m, but Iroh qas Zuko's dad
Father's create a child.

I like how it's Zuko and Iroh and not them being separated.
I think it would be more correct to say that Iroh survived Azula's fire blast and Zuko's tea
every part of this video and avatar series ı love this duo sooo much they are so cute when they are together and ı cried when zuko sorry for his uncle

common Chinese method of parenting.
She doesn't know I don't think. Ursa disappeared when Zuko was younger
And azula smiled as it happened
These two have a great relationship. Iroh never tried to save Zuko which is how you do things.

Aw I love ❤️ every moment that they had together
General Iroh has been like a real father to Zuko.
6:47-Azula probably killed that guy.😬
0:00 That's adorable
Zuko is one of my favorite characters in the show.
I wonder if the timeline would change if Iroh was the father of Zuko instead of Ozai.
If Roku is Zuko's great grandfather, does that mean that Aang and Zuko are (kinda) related?
Oh it happend
The reunion it did.
The forgiveness
It still doesn't make sense as to why Ozai cared when Zuko wasn't even speaking directly to him even if general Iroh explained it still didn't make any sense
He just wanted an excuse to finish Zuko off.
His own son disrespected one of his Generals in his chambers. It reflects badly on him as a leader for his children to be disrespectful
my favourite moment was when Zuko apologised to his uncle and when Iroh got poisoned by the White Jade Bush in Book 2
I like how zuko looks in the comics.

Red rover, red rover, Iroh, come over!
Hey random question but won’t papa be extinct? I thought he was the last sky bison.
Shouldn't Iroh be in a more luxurious prison? Like how they kept royalty imprisoned in medieval times?
I think his failure in Ba Sing Se may have affected his standing.
