Lee, am a United fan and can't understand why our fanbases gassed up nobody ex-players as managers/DOF while Spurs snap up award winners (Paratici was officially awarded best DOF Itw in 2019) while Conte is a trophy collector who is known for restoring winning mentalities to clubs that fall on hard times. He inherited Juventus on a 5 year trophy drought and consecutive 7th place finishes to 3 consecutive titles, becoming the only manager to win Serie A unbeaten in a 20-team league format. They went on to win the next 6 titles following his departure and didn't make it 10 in a row because of his Inter side. Inter were on a 9 year trophy drought when he arrived there yet within 2 seasons he dethroned Juventus. Inter won 2 trophies last season btw. He inherited a Chelsea side that had finished 10th and immediately won the League. He also won the FA Cup despite Roman not properly backing him.
He arrived after Klopp and at the same time as Pep yet won the Title before either of them.

Kroenke aint spending fuck all anytime soon, he's said multiple times he wants the club to make its own money and he's not putting his own in. he's owns a controlling stake of the club and has forced all other investors out. getting rid of arteta will do nothing, any manager who comes in will have the same problems. it should be KROENKE OUT first, then if we get bought, the next owner(s) hopefully run this club properly.

Basically what's happening i think is if Edu can't get a rachet deal paying 30 million over a period of say 3-4 years he goes for next lowest on the list this makes the owners happy because they don't have to fork out 30 million in one go.
