Great video as always. Just wanted too add that this 117 is tuned different and also has heavier valve springs so it can handle a higher lift cam. Harley’s stage 2 for this bike has a bolt in 511 cam which too me is very impressive. Anyway loved hearing your opinion.

Great Video - I will wait a bit for some things to get worked out. My first complaint, as you mentioned, the ECM and BCM issues with not starting. I have two friends who have 2024s and one wouldn’t start, the other would not start and also lost the visual on the infotainment. Screen went blank. So no gauges available during this. Next, the infotainment is NOT better imo. No Sirius XM option. The GPS requires a subscription. (You can use CarPlay if you have a headset to get GPS) The GPS system is now wi-Fi based. Most things are going this way. However, with that said, anywhere you don’t get a phone signal, you will lose your GPS’s ability to update on traffic and weather, and location. So you could lose turn by turn if it can’t tell you where you are at. You can plug your phone in still. There is a cable. I think it switched sides though. Used to be in the left, now it’s in the right. Still need a headset though for CarPlay. I have also read that people that have added an amp to the radio are having issues with things. The one touch start is messing people up. You push the button once, don’t hold it to start. (I have read that they think this contributes to the ECM/BCM issues) There is no VVT on this engine like on the 2023 CVO’s. There have been some big improvements, most of which you mentioned. I’ll still wait awhile. My 2017 RGS suits me fine with what I’ve done to it since buying it. Side note: Google is responsible for there being no Android Auto. That isn’t Harley’s fault. Google won’t allow it on new 2 wheeled vehicles anymore. There is a workaround for it. You can find it if you look it up,on UA-cam.

I think they knocked it out of the park. I love everytging about them. My 23 RG CVO has had some glitches, but im confident they will work it out. Side note, you can use android auto with a 3rd party box you plugin to the bike. Great review 🤘

Carplay does need a headset (which is Apple mandated) however your phone does not need to be wirelessly connected for it to work. Actually having it plugged in to the bike improves the reliability.

I like a lot of the improvements on both the road glide and street glide. I don’t mind the street glide fairing, but I’m not a fan of the road glide fairing.

Nice video Rick. I have a 23 cvo road glide. All new and I like it alot. Yes lots of changes. Most I do like. You covered most in your video. Takes a while to get used to. But in the end it is a fantastic motorcycle.

The suspension is still bad, swapped the rears out. Infotainment is good with carplay and works well with my HD EVOs headset. DLC connector not working, must be a bad pin at the BCM or a break in the wire (Who knows). Price is good. ride is good.
I like the direction Harley is taking these bikes!...as for Android auto...there is a work around...checkbout "In the friction zone" he has a couple great videos on it!...great thoughts and impressions....thanks for sharing...stay safe out there!!😎👍🤙👍🤙🇨🇦

50% more suspension...so basically instead of 12" shocks they went with the 13" that the ultras have always had

Android auto is a google thing not Harley. Thrashing put bars on a new one and said the stock bushings are super soft

The all black Road Glide and Street Glide should come with all black wheels. Looks stupid with the chrome on the wheels.
