Shop looks great!! I don’t think most people understand the difficulty of maintaining order on a homestead where you’re raising 5 children. It’s childcare, school, jobs, hobbies, sports, recreation… they spend almost all of their waking hours on this homestead. I’d say they’re doing a fantastic job at staying on top of everything. I’m so excited for your move into the beautifully remodeled home - well deserved!

Hi Rhodes'. I'm a retired gardener. At work we had many, many tools. We used peg board to hang them but we then took a permanent marker and outlined each tool. When you used it you could see the outline of where it was suppose to go back. God bless your new home.

Hey, it’s a great safety measure to pull all the way in the blade in the tablesaw when is not used. Safer for humans, protects the blade. Don’t leave it in the cut position. In my opinion.

G greetings from Northeast Ohio. I’m so glad you’re cleaning up the shop before moving day. You have to be organized before moving day in order to move in and stay organized. The only way your family is going to succeed is to put things away when you’re done with it. I hope you all try hard. Your life will be so much easier. Especially for you Justin, who measures everything in time.
PS. Please, no playing in the hay. I know it’s fun, until………

The house looks beautiful! Can't wait for the grand tour after you move in. It was fun seeing the kid cam in the hay! We did the same thing when I was little....so many, many years ago. Just be careful it doesn't collapse on you, like it did on my friend. That was scary. But, it was so much fun! Thanks for sharing.

I agree with only putting tools up higher lol the old mind in me. I don't want to bend over either. Plus good chance the chiltlens get ahold of your tools. Whatever you do make it nice for you, easy to put stuff up. Even making it "pretty" can help. Staying organized is one of the hardest things to do. I'm still working on it daily. Bad habits like putting things down or in a basket/box. I just end up with boxes of junk to go through later. I feel ya on all that. Your getting it done though.

Justin although I love your passion for building for your kiddos, do you really think they all will live together when they are married with families. You are putting a lot of pressure on the kids to live your dream. Let them live theirs. I’m saying this as a 67 year old woman. I’m a widow and wanted my kiddos to live with me. I’ve learned I had to let go and let them do their dreams. I’m say this with love in my heart. I’m trying to protect your heart. 🥰

So as good as the shop looks now, I don't think it will stay that way. However, I know he has a tremendous amount of work to do to keep the homestead going and he does that very well.
