Bains here. Just want to publicly say no hard feelings. Emotions are running high at this stage of the tournament. Game 1 was just awful play by me. I was also not too thrilled at how my game 2 ended. Game 3 it just worked out for me. Losing that 10 was so bad, i was so mad at myself, but i dont think black had any chance of finding my other two positions even if he had succeeded on my big stack. If its any consolation i think my wife is even more upset than you were that i won. Shes so over hearing about this tournament.
@@derekmiller6631 I didn’t compliment you for your play in game 3, but it was very well played. Killing the best player in the lobby, who had perfect lines on you if they set first, is the correct play 💯. And I loved your defensive stack at the very top. That was a great move! Like I said, I was super frustrated cause of the entire series. Also, if you didn’t kill me, I definitely kill you on 4 and then sweep up the lobby, so you beating me to it kinda hurt. Big time appreciation of your post, and good luck in R10. (Although something tells me you won’t need it ;) We started the tournament together, and now my tournament ends with us again.
XC! First of all, congratulations on making top 24, you are easily one of the best I have played against. Your play in all 3 games was strong. The first game was out of your hands. The second you went for it after getting fed yourself and it was a good attempt given your knowledge and vision. Third game in first position was very difficult. My biggest takeaway from this though is your anger/attitude. I understand how much pressure there is and the stakes but you are your biggest enemy when you start name-calling and seething with anger. If you can work on that, you will be unstoppable! It was a pleasure playing with you and I am rooting for you my friend -(^-^)’
Yeah. I get tilted way too easily. Thankfully it doesn't spill over into me slamming into players. Might just affect my concentration a little. I don't think level headed me could have changed the outcomes of any of those games though, but definitely being less toxic (like I used to be when I only lost all the time) would leave a significantly better example for future players. Like my passion for winning seeps into my commentary which becomes heated and toxic. I need to do better in that regard. Rewatching the video in light of the first comment on this video, made me ashamed. I want to encourage positivity, but I'm only positive on wins. I think a wiser strategy would be to just mute audio on recordings, and then overlay a commentary audio that wasn't made in the heat of the moment. I am also way more chill when I am live. Because people are watching, live. It's another reason why I wish we were allowed to live stream, so chat can distract me from my raging tendencies a bit. My most toxic games are on recorded games that weren't allowed to be live streamed. For some reason, I'm just way more in my comfort zone live, and can always chill more. Chat gives me joy.
@@theartof2ndplace237 very well said! Great self reflection, its only up from here. With each tournament game you're one step closer. I feel you on the live recordings too, that makes sense! Keep up the hard work and I will catch you on the flip -(^-^)'
Yeah. I messed up, but acted on the preface that 40 troops slammed meant at least one more position was hit. And if I didn't go for it, someone surely gets a cheap kill, right? The feed was actually so bad that they didn't even get half the troops lol. Did I misplay? Yes. I didn't get the kill. All of us messed up at one point or another, but happy the player that made the fewest mistakes won the game, as they should.

In a game with so much rng, I wish you would show grace, mostly to yourself
Yeah, unfortunate games. We can play game of your favourite zombies if you want.

@@theartof2ndplace237 your attempt seemed pretty reasonable, it looked like he got hit a lot more
