Interesting talk. I've always loved hearing Kevin Kelly's thoughts on the future. Thanks for sharing this!
In offering my own research/data/perspective, firstly I'd say that current computers can never be autonomous (let alone have emotions or real intelligence) because they have no independent goals that we living beings don't give them (design and programming). We animals are autonomous because our genes are randomly generated from combinations of our parents' genes, and after birth our environment affects (programs) us beyond what our parents gave us as our basic design/programming. Computers are, at best, entirely dependent fetuses, if even that. AI stands for artificial intelligence, meaning it's a good fake, but not the real thing.
Secondly, we already have the best world government out there, which is the laws of physics (entropy, eg. complexity, always increases overall in the universe) and our local instance of physics, meaning our planet's general mass/gravity, chemical composition, location in the solar system, age, etc. These are the only laws that apply to all of us, and the only laws we need for us to evolve healthfully. Any attempt to force anyone into particular groups/rules/governments, even at a local level, will, as we see now, result in violent rejection, eventually. All systems outside of the laws of physics need to be consensual. So think global, act local, and act with respect for those you're interacting with.

Humans will realise that human cognition is not at the centre of intelligence, we are way off out on the edge, just as we realised we are not at the centre of the universe.
This bit hit. We're moving to the heliocentric of human intelligence, society will transform in ways we cannot even comprehend
