  • NOT MY RECORDING! Special thanks to tygerbug and ocpmovie for the copy:
    archive.org/de...
The original ITC US print of The Muppet Show ending with Dudley Moore, originally broadcasted in the US on October 25, 1979.
    (episode 407, Season 4.)
This is the original version of that episode's Zoot ending variation that uses different glitchy robotic cue of the last note and different canned laughter, as most of the releases uses the completely robotic cue of the last note before audience applauds. (and since the last bits from that being cut-off with an on-screen Jim Henson logos)
Since the original audio sourced from Internet Archive is quiet to some people, i've decided to use some software to fix the problem of the audio just to make it a bit louder for all headphone speakers.
I don’t own anything! The Muppet Show and all its characters and settings were belongs to all of the respectful owners, Associated Television/ITV Studios, Jim Henson Productions and Disney.

I didn’t know that the original version of this episode had different music. That means that the alternate one was first used in the “HiT Television” era, during its airings on networks including BBC One.

Or maybe it was used in the UK.

@@aidahozoori8675 It was also used in the UK, but with the “ATV Colour Presentation” logo, instead of “ITC Entertainment.”

I can't confirm if the original UK broadcast has the applause effect as well like what one episode did with Danny Kaye that was shown as a Christmas episode, I need an evidence about that from the Muppet community first or the ITV recordings from either VHS or Betamax tapes (especially pre-1982 recordings) that includes bits from the show.
