That came out beautiful I just love the look of the lunchbox was my first RC vehicle ever in 1989.
I’m very happy with it, I usually change the look yearly but I’ll keep it like this for another year I think. Lunchbox is such a good model. Thanks for watching 👍

Hi there, and a great job on the new improved CW-01 Chassis. And version 3 of the Lunchbox looks great! Different, but still a great, fun RC. Great work, time will tell if the front arms and alloy front will hold up to 12 months of mileage ! Awesome first run, off on a great new adventure, hiccup! Oops that sherry’s a bit strong! 🤣😂🤣🇬🇧😁😉😊
Yes it is an annual event the Lunchbox overhaul. I doubt it’s possible to add further upgrades. Nothing better than some Cooking Sherry 😂👍

Yeah I remember the cyclist that criticised my spray technique also 😂 it would be a good crawler, but Lunchboxes don’t seem to like oddly shape obstacles so it’s mainly ramming speed 😆😂👍

I had red at home, for some reason I like red RC's but no. I ordered the TS-16 Yellow and Primer. It has to be it! Hopefully it will arrive in the mail tomorrow. @@RCsoandso

You never know! Damn, paint did not arrive in the post today and since I'm a restless person I cancelled the order and went by bus and train to a nearby town and bought it in store! Also picked up a can of clear coat TS-13 to finish with. @@RCsoandso

You've inspired me to get several front end pieces imported to the UK from GPM as well, looking forward to fitting them. I've already added a sport tuned motor and short shocks, along with modded gearbox suspension blocks instead of the brace or 5th suspension arm. I get a lot faster from a cold start but the steering suffers; hoping that a slightly heavier front end along with sturdier parts will help!
It does anchor it down more, the issue I’m now having is even though I made it as light as possible the roof rack has impacted the centre of gravity. Further testing is needed. Hope they work out for you, they are really great quality 👍
@@RCsoandso Yea, I've found the same with the speed tuned motor, even the slightest turn at high speed will flip the truck due to the high centre of gravity. My suspension blocks also don't help as they offer less movement of the gearbox; great for speed, not great for turning. I think I've basically turned it into a tall yellow TVR.....

Hello. The best advise is gpm parts. They usually carry a good stock, but sometimes you have to keep your options open for colour choice. Let me know if you need any help at all and I will do what I can to help 👍
Looks very cool! I like the subtle two tone paint and it looks good with the black edition decals on it! I have been eyeing the aluminum upgrade parts as I am going to take one of mine from mild to wild soon! How are you liking the servo saver? I assume it works well, I just don't know anybody with one installed.
The servo seems to be as good as before, maybe better, I think the only thing left would be the aluminium chassis cage for it, but I don’t see it needing that, but I’m not saying no 😆😂👍
Wow that looks brilliant! Love the barrel of cooking sherry 😂 Who does the custom stickers that you use? You really go all out with the alu upgrades on these. I only tend to upgrade the bits that actually break and mostly it stays in one piece. I might invest in the servo saver and steering arms though as that looks great. Top work on the video as ever. RC Decals, I found them on eBay but they are super helpful as they send a proof of concept before they print. It might be a bit industrial but in black you can’t tell. The Sherry is ESSENTIAL 🍷😂😆👍
I'm trying to contain myself to not overspend on aluminum parts for my Lunch Box. Initially I was going to leave the arms plastic and change the front arm bulk as I thought that part needed strength but I'll go for arms alloy and leave the Front Arm Bulk plastic. Cheers
To be honest it’s not a bad idea. It’s good to have a point of weakness, I broke the chassis because of stress so had to replace that, it was cheap enough but a hassle, so arms would be ideal to leave as is 👍
@@RCsoandso I've got an Arrma Vorteks for driving hard so my Tamiyas stay reasonably tame and are mostly for going for a walk, not brushless and big air. Cheers for the videos and tips. I think I'll get both as I want to 3D print arms in the future for double wishbone suspension up front.

I’m really glad you like it, and the Lunchbox is so versatile you can’t really go wrong with it! The roof rack is of eBay, it did come with some lights but with the way I drive is was pointless to add them 😂 welcome onboard and I hope you enjoy the content and thanks for taking the time to comment 👍
I have alloy hubs on my super hot shot because I got a 4600 Castle creations running in it I thought they would rip apart the red one that were plastic on it.
I think the Alloy parts are so well made and they are not that expensive 👍

I have fond memories of my yellow lunchbox with mechanical speed controller. It was an absolute turd as far as handling, but we all know that. I would love a 1:10, or even 1:8 lexan lunchbox body.
We have bought some lexan bodies and they are really good, super light but durable, if you get the chance you should try them out 👍

So on the subject of shocks. Did you find the oil filled shocks took a bit of personality away from the box? Isn't the bouncing and bobbing around part of the charm? Please share your thoughts and experience. Thank you.
To be honest, it doesn’t really take from the charm. The best way to put it would be imagine having a daft dog, it’s always friendly and eager to please, but it’s daft. With adding oil shocks, is like taking the dog to training classes, yes it’s more responsive, and moves less awkwardly, but it’s not unusual for it to still fall over, or to do something daft. I think that’s the best way to describe it 🐶😆😂👍
Yeah, man, that thing is a tank! Or almost, at least... No idea if they use monster trucks in the military anywhere, maybe they should, would be fun to drive anyway, ha ha!

@@RCsoandso I've followed mostly gamers in the past but started looking at RC as it was something I wanted as a kid but could never afford.
I've always enjoyed channels that are actually real people. Glossy channels have there place but real people are what yt is about. A proper interaction with video and conversation.
I can pretty much guess the RC community will be very similar. You could call it nerds etc but it's just people with interests of a certain ilk. *I'll try to avoid being vaguely serious in the future!
