I have the Radar Renegade R/T in 285-50-20 on my lc200 for about 1.5 year / 30k kmers and they are perfect!
About half thread left in them. They are not loud at all, only just after rotation for a few kmers.
The handle on wet payvement is not so good, take the roundabouts and corners with care, but i think thats normal for an almost full- Mud terrain tire like this one. Hope it helps some of you in your decision.
I'm going radar again on my 18" rims also, I'm between the R7's full mud tires or same rts again, i have not yet made up my mind. Its my daily driver so r7 might be to much, but than i can change it for the 20" with rts back and use the 18" with r7 for weekends and holiday adventures.
Thanks for the feedback on the RT+! We look forward to hearing what you think when you take them off-road!
What country made?
@@kennybayani3902 these are made in China!
Hey guys! Can you give us an email to contact you at please? :-)

Where might I get the 285/75r16 rt+ locally in annapolis, md. ???
thanks a lot for the frame I saw that the RT radar tire also exists in the 205-70-15 size and then the description says that the right compromise between an all Terrain and an aggressively designed mud Terrain! greetings from Pontassieve province of Florence!
It’s amazing how much those side bits help
Adjusting the torsion bars will affect camber ,may need an alignment
Be great for an update, I'm on the fence with these or the at
When you adjusted them you raised the lower control arm which in turn made the arm longer than the travel of the shock therefore you need a longer shock and alignment because it also moved the caster and camber out of adjustment it will cause premature ware of tires and a rougher ride that should be
I just got 4 of these 33x12.5r20''s for 400 bucks "used" with 200 miles on them...lol. hell of a deal.
How have these held up and how would you compare them to the Duratrac?
How are the tires holding up I'm very interested in getting some
Would love to see an update on em
Spoke with Radar about these Renegade R/T they are offering a 45k warranty on these tires starting 10/1/20
You are correct! 40-45k mileage warranty and road hazard on these beginning on tires purchased after Oct 1st.
Radar Tires Thank you for the full details I’m impatiently waiting for 10/1 so that I can order a set.
@@Radartires I'm looking g at pulling the trigger on a set of these off ebay. How does the warranty work. Nobody sells them around here.
@@unclerobb9941 we would recommend purchasing from a warrantable site (Ebay is unfortunately not covered in our warranty). We would be happy to locate the size you're searching for if you want to either email us at info@omni-united.com or send us your email here. Please include the size, pattern and your zip in email.
@@Radartires I reached out yesterday and have not gotten a response.
Jeeezus boys this is why they make fun of Canadians lol. Nice vid though.. Update? I'd assume the truck died well before these were broken in. Nice Blunt. Cheers from BC🇨🇦
Did they balance well?
How are the tires holding up? Has the road noise increased?
Fellow Manitobian here, how'd these do in the winter? Got to replace my KO2's and the prices is very appealing! cheers
Gotta go with the more aggressive side tread out definitely
Got my keys on my Tahoe lifted all the way up along with longer shocks and it's a bit bouncy but nothing you can't handle. Kinda like how my lowrider used to drive when I had it locked up 😂
Thanks for the video today guys
You should put several hundred KM on the tires before you decide they are quiet. I've had several sets of tires which were absolutely quiet upon first run, then got noisy when I got to about 300-400 miles on them. When I say they were noisy, I mean it was like driving on metal grating all the time ... absolutely horrendous. If I took a stab at why, I'd tend to think the small rubber nipples (from the bold) might have something to do with it. After they are gone, the noise increases. I don't know for sure, but it seems reasonable.
The biggest difference I've noticed with off brand tires, including Yokohama's, is that they are molded poorly and require way more weight to properly balance as opposed to a quality tire like Michelin.
I thought Yokohama are quality tires from Japan
What’s the difference between the Renagade RT and RT+ ?
Both tire ranges have the same tread design and are same in terms of performance but have some differences in sizes and feature different dual sidewall designs - the RT comes with a Flaming Demon sidewall and the RT+ comes with a Piston-skull sidewall.
Also select sizes on the RT+ have a 3PMSF symbol making them officially approved for winter use.
The + means snow rated. Has a snowflake symbol in between the centre lugs
You can poboy balance them with a cup of antifreeze
How they do off road?
Any update on the tires?
Where did you buy these tires from? I'm very interested in them. Thanks
I got them from Cost Less Tire locally. But if you aren't from around here, the radar website should have a list of dealers.
Let us know if we can help you locate a set!
How much does these tires weigh bro?
18:38 200 KPH on an on ramp?
Speedo shows 62kph.. I'd hate to be in that truck if it was doing 200kph. Especially on a bend :)
@@brettwhitla4425 prob only go about 160 downhill with a tail wind
@@juliogonzo2718 Only if the everyone got out and pushed as well ☺️
You should clamp the rims from the outside instead of clamping them from the inside when changing the tires. The rim will not pop off
I don't know who looks more tired the tire machine or use trying to use it
33x11.50r20 and while their not annoying sound wise they do hum
As a tyre fitter for like 6 years this hurts my soul to watch
nice tires should be a great in the winter .
Skip towards the end to kind of hear the tires. Wish folks would shut their yaps so we can try to hear them. 🤪
I like the skull and piston better
Where did u get the tires from that are on the blue ghost??
Costless tire on dugald rd
Rob, what exact tires are you running on the S10?
The 18s are 225/40/18 the rears 245/45/18 the drag radials are 275/60/15
@@SPPTVarmy I was actually wondering what tire it is, Radar brand, which model? I do love the look of that truck it just sits right.
Radar dimax r8
Should put a set on Sonic Stang.
Hey that tire machine is newer than my coats 40/40
19:20 look at that hooter 🦉
almost look like the preditor tires
Adjusting the set bolt for the torsion key doesn't change preload on the torsion bar( you would would literally be riding on the torsion bar the exact same way). The only thing that would make it feel stiffer is the change in geometry of the control arm, which is probably negligible depending how far you crank it up.
Ya I don't know who gave u a set that cheap, but I can't find any tires that cheap
Skulls out. Oh be careful cranking them torsion bars up to much,it will make it understeer in slippery conditions.
Use diesel fuel around the bead to install and remove the tire on a tire machine.
I used to work for one of the biggest trucking companies in the world. Went to do a tire course at another shop with a rep from Bridgestone. He told somebody to get some dismounting lube and the guy brought back varsol. Bridgestone guy flipped shit
5:31 spidey senses engaged
LMAO!,, i have the same tires 275/55/20's with KMC XD series grenades with 3 inch lip 18+ off set, fits my 2004 Toyota Sequoia no lift soon to be lifted:}
Old video. Can you make a 1 year review
I've thought about it, and should do it soon. Would be an easy video to make.
@@SPPTVarmybut still didn’t do it.
@SPPTVarmy do you recommend them? What's the gas milage compared to the duratecs?
Skulls to the inside
Skulls!!!!!
8:05 ROTFLMAO!
Those tires are absolute garbage!!!!............I've had to have 8 Radar Renegade RT 275/65/R20's WARRANTIED OUT, within 1 MONTH!!!.....all 8 were absolute garbage!!!..(DON'T BUY THESE TIRES!)
Skulls!
Don't go lifting trucks on the shock bracket like you were doing. Especially not that piece of crap. You should really know better
Why not?
no warranty if not done at a tire shop and must be balanced !!! so you need receipts to prove they were mounted balanced and installed by professional shop.
You are driving this piece of junk on road!? Jesus, how stupid people can be.
You don't do that in center Europe, i swear! Otherwise you pay a lot at the first cop you see and drive no Meter more far.
