Hi from New Zealand. Love your videos. Excellent work on refurbishing the Tangaroa. A great medium for helping raise healthy kids. In Te Reo Maori, Tangaroa is a "God of the Sea," which I'm sure you already know. Pronounced Tung-a-roar. Keep the videos coming. Stay strong (kia kaha).
We met sailing to New Zealand and love your country and people. Spent months exploring it during America's Cup 2000! We can't wait to return. Sorry about our pronunciation. We are trying to get the Canadian twang out of it. We are looking forward to bringing her to NZ in the next 5 years. Keep an eye out.
When we get stressed about life in general we go and sit on the bow of the boat and discuss how blessed we are indeed to be where we are in our life. It is not perfect but its pretty damn good.

Hey John and welcome to the channel. Yes people say I look like my mom with my dad's nose!! bahhhh....I went to school with Jeff and have so many fond memories of shopping with my mom in Zechner's. Thanks for reminding me of them!
I think we dropped in 110' on the northwest side and stern tied. We were directly across the cove from the dock. It was deep but we were pretty secure with two stern lines. What is crazy is the height of the granite cliffs behind us.
