- Looking for a hotel in Benidorm can be daunting! Which one is the best? The last thing you need when you get to Benidorm is to open the door to your room and find it's a Hotel from Hell. Maybe you have been looking at The BCL Hotel Levante Club BENIDORM and wondering what it's like, surfing through Tripadvisor and finding conflicting reviews, Terrible Breakfast, Amazing Breakfast, Bed Bugs, Really nice rooms, Holiday Nightmares, Dream Holidays. I would never go to Benidorm so it's great just to watch it with the Macmaster
Why? I've always said that too tbh, but I'm now considering. On my own though, which is making me a bit 'edgy'. Did that in Tenerife 4 years ago, and didn't speak to anyone for 5 days bar the staff.
I went for first time end mar/April and took my daughter (19) along for a laugh. I said I’d never go to Benidorm but oh was I wrong. Beautiful seafront, not rowdy at that time of the year and most of the week very sunny.try the ambassador playa 2 hotel,been renovated and great all round/rooms👍🏻,food etc. I definitely got the benny bug .
Why would you never go to Benidorm ? I'm a Brit who lives in the countryside 1 hrs drive from Benidorm and Me and The Mrs drive down to Benidorm every couple of months for 1 or 2 nights and every Xmas. Love the place , there's something for everyone .
Glad to see you’ve paid attention to previous comments on buffet breakfast basics
1) get coffee juice etc get it on a table
2) get bread / toast sorted get it on table
3) whizz round grab all your breakfast bits
4) scoff it down

Stayed there just over 6 years ago with the wife for my 60th and went back 2 years later for the wife's 60th...we loved it and had a great time... Nice quiet area and a nice little stroll to the beach looking in the shops and the indoor market on the way... Thanks for bringing back some nice memories for us Lee... 👍👍👍

Can't complain at the breakfast, especially the sausages. Looked far better than some of the tiny sausages served at Spanish hotels I've stayed at in the past 👍
Hi Lee. Been there before the refurbishment. Food was good that was it😢. We stay at the melia benidorm in front of the flamingo. Top tip kohinoor Indian restaurant just over the road. Superb. Then of cause the China garden which you've tried. Best area for us. Enjoy.😎

Stayed twice this year - chairs in balcony so hard you can’t sit on them - fried eggs and bacon held to ransom and 20 minute wait to get served when it’s busy - there is one particular in reception who doesn’t like any customers - no toilet anywhere near the pool - apart from that - it’s fine - but much better hotels in Benners for the money

400 odd for one person for 5 nights is not good ,you could of got similar hotel for half the price,then your flight which I'm assuming u paid 300 cos it's jet 2 one of the dearest, nearly a grand for one for 5 nights ....roberry....great vlog tho .. 👍👍

Loved. Vlog .. we've booked to go to Benidorm 11th December.. 7 nights .. been to hotel before £710. Know it's not gonna be hot . It's half board too . Been a couple of times in December . It's like our spring day.. but flights cases etc .. transport.. know you love that 😂 . Couldn't go to York for that. 😮

Stayed at the BCL Club & Spa several times myself, used to be an awesome hotel when it was adults only and no kids, still nice place. Always clean but the kids spoil it. It now attracts a different clientele. Usually, the scouses who always travel as a clan, gran, aunts uncles cousins, nieces, nephews, cats, dogs and the UC & PIP benefits advisor in tow too.
My wife used to look under beds to see what they were like when travelling around, but she doesn't any more. Staying in a hotel in Sydney, she looked under the bed after booking in, to come face to face with a Huntsman spider😲 My wife is scared of the spiders we get in the UK, so was terrified by the considerably larger Huntsman spider. I have now been given the task of looking under hotel beds🤔

When I stayed at the Levanti BCL last year they cooked lovely sausage at breakfast at the place where your bacon was cooked much nicer than the catering sausage you had 👍
Stayed here nearly 20 years ago. Your review pretty much mirrors our thoughts at the time although the hotel was a bit newer obviously. Think we payed 500 for half board 2 weeks back in the day. Remember all the pubs on the strip down to the beach were all bogof on drinks in the evening. Was a cracking holiday

Lee good morning just watched your video from levanete club.its brings back memories for me it was my first hotel I stayed in on my first visit to benidorm. The view fr your room is the same I had from my room. The one thing I like to point out is wheres the saucer for your cup of coffee? In the past I have seen people did what you did and drop the cup because they did not use the saucers provided. Cup and saucer next time lee

The cast of Benidorm used to stay next door in The Melia as my friend was in it back in the day ,nice hotel
From experience mopping my own ceramic floors, hairs get caught in the mop head and then get deposited somewhere else. Usually have to go round with a brush after the floor has dried to collect random bits. Thought the food looked very good.

Breakfast looked okmate. Wouldn't be overly acceptable over here in England but for abroad I thought it was a decent effort. Needed Black Pudding and Fried Bread but other than that I'd give it a decent 7.8/10. Seen a lot worse to be honest. Agree with you completely about those silly toasters lol. They take an hour to just do one side🤣😅. Hotel looks good too. Thanks for sharing buddy👍
Hi Lee.... fair review tbh.... we stayed there for 2 weeks in June. Didn't miss one breakfast. If you are out and about nearby there's a good Chinese restaurant... Chinese garden.. down the road on the left.... opposite the red lion on the roundabout.. for a curry you won't go far wrong with Nepali chulo just further down ...on the left...and for a curve ball suggestion.... if you like steaks...try the Dutch restaurant ...Grandcafe Del Leeuw..... ask for the steaks where you get a huge knife. . I'm not kidding..... onwards my friend.
That's an elegant hotel, full of light in the public areas. Food looked great. Add friendly staff and £80 a night is fine for b&b in season. Get a swim in befor breky and enjoy the pool to yourself....Thanks for sharing!
Thought it was a bit pricey myself.

Stayed in the Nereo for over 10 weeks...amazing hotel. Also stayed in the Flamingo Oasis...next door to the Levante Club...another great hotel with good food.
Another UA-camr from my town, (Great Yarmouth), is pretty thorough on inspecting hotel rooms and cleanliness both in UK and abroad. Hairs around the fridge that’s gross!
Anyway breakfast looked ok standard catering sausage, not sure if you would find a Grange Hill style bent sausage over there, soggy hash brown which I’m not a particular fan of anyway, bacon and eggs looked good probably all in all a decent looking breakie.
Levante not to be mistaken for Levant.
Breakfast looked half decent.
I like bright orange yolks (rich in Carotenoids).
Lots of variety of food on offer to cater for all.
Interesting ceiling design in the restaurant with the plants hanging from the ceiling and cool lighting.
Looks a decent hotel Mac, the brekkie looks nice .
Lee I got told you can turn the toaster up to brown more if it's the same we saw somewhere have a look please so I know to when I'm there breakfast looks ok we stayed at the Helios hotel food was good so much choice that was evening meal never got down for breakfast lol enjoy x

Looking at the breakfast, the 'chef' likes high temperatures, the bottom of the egg was burnt and the hash brown was floppy because the outside looked cooked but the interior could have done with a little longer. Just observations compared to my expectations.
Have to say that I always appreciate your videos especially those that confirm my thoughts on the dreaded EVs.
Mr Mac, there is a dial, usually on the front of the toaster which slows down the conveyor belt, just give it a turn and you only have to put your toast through once. 🍞
Stayed in quite afew hotels in benidorm often wondered what the levante club was like quite impressed judging by the breakfast ill give it an 8 but those toasters do make my teeth itch and the toast didn't look toasted much after lol. 😄👍
Good Morning Sir. Finally i have gotten round to watch and Admire such a very Professional and Honest Hotel review. I really did like the Establishment that you stayed at Lee. For the money, very, very Good. I thought that the Breakfast Buffet was Superb. Your Breakfast looked very Good quality. I can not fault a single piece of Food on your plate Lee. I could easily eat everything on that plate and then have some more. I did Enjoy your tour and walk around the Hotel Levante Club. Very, very Impressed with it's Luxurious Abientic Beauty. Those Swimming Pool and Jaccusi looked very Inviting. I could really stay at this very Modern and Beautiful Hotel. What a Great place to Sleep at, have a Lovely meal and have a nice cool drink of what ever you Desire. Absolutely another one for the Tourist and Adventurer map. Nice one Lee. Jonathan. ☺☺👍👍

Lee that hotel and breakfast looks just fine to me. We are in Benidorm for 6 weeks December/January. Entering our room in Mexico an Iguana came from the under the bed and just strolled past us to go outside!

Yes Lee I was impressed by the hotel and breakfast and would stay there. Dave's from yesterday could learn a lesson from the hotel Chef who was happy to get his moment in the limelight flipping eggs in your video.
While we were away in Calpe our hotel had quite a few Spanish families for the weekend, due to bank holiday and I noticed a lot had the English breakfast, cereal and toast. So perhaps some do eat English food!
My Spanish girl-friend loves English breakfast. I don't, I prefer continental, croissants with coffee, maybe because I am Dutch...

I have to agree with you about the Flamingo Oasis . I've spent a couple of stays at the Levante club and the Flamingo Oasis , and the Flamingo tops it easily . I'm spending this Xmas there in December.
Nice and clean ,no carpet which is good ..breakfast buffet ia decent .not shabby plenty to have cooked freah eggs good .hash brown well will steam from crisp when sitting out .☺
Only wish they had a microwave in rooms it is handy.

The breakfast and food looks a lot better than in the Flamingo Oasis next door where the food isn’t good. But the best hotel is the Melia which is very modern clean and has beautiful gardens and pool.
Good the hair was on the floor and not in the food. : - ) Just ask the hotel to have your room thoroughly cleaned.
Hi Lee , i spent 4 days at xmas at Levante club 3 yrs ago and thought it was OK . We much prefer the hotel right next door to it now though , so give the Flamingo Oasis a try .Ps its adults only .

Well,it seems Lee that you got the memo & read it😮 Diversity. The new game in town 😅 I like the idea, not just the resort, but the accommodation 😊😊 First thought 💭 really like the tiles ( carpets catch c**p & all sorts😢) Side of fridge, not acceptable. A bit harsh on hair(gate) if great clumps found on floor or in plug holes again not acceptable.But one or two strays,lose half a point. More up set by Ashtray on the balcony 😢Breakfast time 😊 Agreed the restaurant was bright, airy and looked very clean.Quite an impressive spread, however a few trays running out of items 😢and early in a service,jury still out on that.Your fry up😮mixed view from me. You can not fry eggs on a solid hot plate 😢bacon& sausages as advertised, beans a bit watered-down? Hash browns soft& soggy. But the Crimewatch slot😢mushrooms 😮 straight from the can to the counter 😢😢 What a grey day for fungi 😮 AND The Toast😢😢 Lee it should be golden brown ,some say dark brown verging on burnt. At least with a crunch😂😂 But bottom line from what you showed us, I could live with the stray hair or two( as long as not short and curly 😮) A filling start and a bed to sleep in 😊and only one tiny mention of EV's Best vlog for ages ❤Allan&Family
You can fry eggs on a hotplate, you put a cover over to allow steam to build inside, it then cooks the top and bottom 😊
@@sharonhogg6196 point taken.But you can also buy a catering size egg frying tray (24/36) slots fill with oil and a proper fried egg, or use a salted water mix and poached eggs on offer,not so much faffing about with lids . Happy-go-lucky cooking Allan&Family

Lee, stayed there many times, sorry u found debris, in your room. Have to say tho, roomy rooms, great food excellent service and great views, don't mean to the sea but that, but bars n street at night also great. Pool area too small, but made up by spacious rooms and warm feeling from staff.
Nice review i live in the area stay there a few times.I have say in almost every hotel over 50 years. I still work in the tourist industry.The hairs were terrible can i ask if you went to reseption straight away, giving the hotel chance to correct, You did not mention in the vlog. If you did or what the reaction was. Should have sent cleaner straight away and given you a few complimentary items drink fruit spa.. Great work enjoy very much 😊

Breakfast looked ok 8/10 but I'm not keen on eggs burnt around the edges and crispy but everyone's different.. Those blooming toast machines, I hate them lol Ive seen people arguing over whose is whose toast hahahha. Curious... do you have to pay single person supplement? and I assume the flight is on top. Nice video.
Maybe the hairs on the floor was yours? LOL! This was a weird title because here in the states, a bed and breakfast is basically a private home that operates as a hotel that includes meals.
