Came back to watch this after my manager at the restaurant I work at had me try a hot sauce literally called The End. One shake of the bottle in BBQ wings, two glasses of milk and two slices of bread later, I calmed my tongue down enough to demand what he was thinking.
Fun fact- this was the first piece of non-Friday Nights LRR content I ever saw back in 2017. (Discovered Friday Nights on the M:tG channel shortly after Aether Revolt came out, started binging the series, and eventually this sketch got recommended after one of the FN episodes!)
The Second Child And the best part is that it is a recurring conversation piece, because they won't remember talking about it each time they try it. :-D
This sounds like an actual conversation my stepdad had with a waiter at a restaurant talking about how much heat he could handle. The waiter ended up being right, but the old man didn't want to give him the satisfaction of it and forcefully ate every bite. He still calls it the best meal he ever ate. His doctor also has banned hot sauce from his diet for medical reasons.
The funny part is I've had a conversation like this one trips to the pepper palace lol. I'm still waiting for that last one that ends all life in the Galaxy. However I have purchased a few that have end my day really quickly lol.
Amazing ep, this one had me in stitches. Also, best stinger of recent note! I can think of few people who could sell that last bit like Kathleen did, haha. I love you guys!
Watched this again, b/c WTH NOT?! Ah Beej...you crazy bugger. I have been killing my tastebuds for over 25 years now, so I too know the feel of the never-ending succession of hot sauce challenges, haha!
I love that this one can make me laugh at the ridiculous one-upmanship of hot sauces and remind me of a Neil Gaiman story at the same time. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Can_Get_Them_for_You_Wholesale
I was slightly confused the first time I watched this one-I had recently been to a hot sauce shop with my parents and this sketch took a while to get past their normal talk. Also because I had somehow gotten the lead singers of Van Halen mixed up.
6 Years later, this is still one of the best LRR sketches, period.
This, and drugs, drugs, drugs aged amazingly
@@elliotbell4868 That is the other one I will always show people I'm showing LRR too.
@@nathanjudy7705 hell yeah. The other one that is good is the iron stomach challenge with the smoothies.
Thirding, it still holds up so well
I still enjoy Professional Stabbists League.
I've never seen an arms _race_ and an arms _deal_ happen at the same time before.
9 years later, this hot sauce arms race is still as hilarious as the first time I watched it.
It just keeps escalating! Every line feels like it couldn't get worse, then it does!
You seen like a cool person. Be my friend? :3
"kick it up a notch"
"Don't say that."
I feel like that was taken directly from the writing process for this.
I love the subtly-played increasing frustration from Graham's character.
EGRJ he's quite good at subtly-played increasing frustration. 🤣
Jacob it's almost like he's had 8 years of experience at this point
...Character?
Honestly Graham is just an really talented actor, perhaps LRR's best
@@rhyzvanic3660 yes
Graham's sudden shift from serious to jaunty with "Chipotle Surprise!" is still one of my favorite lines.
"Alex walks in, carrying the hot sauce with tongs and a hazmat suit"
*"Graham picks it up barehanded"*
He's fine. He had a glove.
He had a glove and only carried it for a short while. I did the same thing and I'm fi

“This would never happen on magic online, I concede” “ALL HAIL THE MIGHT OF BEARS”
Boy that sure escalated... at a perfectly reasonable and comedic pace.
I somehow have the feeling that Cam was probably involved somewhere in the writing of this sketch, probably around that last sauce.
December 2024. I remember watching this a year after it came out when I started watching LRR. Still just as good!
8 years later and this is still a masterpiece.
Saw this when it first was released but didn’t grasp how good the names are. They are just…*chefs kiss*, I have a feeling Kathleen had a hand in this.
Came back to watch this after my manager at the restaurant I work at had me try a hot sauce literally called The End. One shake of the bottle in BBQ wings, two glasses of milk and two slices of bread later, I calmed my tongue down enough to demand what he was thinking.
"That is only grown deep in the..." one of the best delivered lines of all time.
Can't believe I've been watching these guys for 10 years
6 years later and I'm still noticing small details that I missed. Kathleen wearing Paul's glasses to keep the continuity in particular.
This is still one of my favourite of their sketches. Graham's delivery really sells it.
YOU TURNED PAUL INTO KATHLEEN! YOU MONSTERS!
It could have been worse. It could have been the other way round.
Leap Of Faith wat does he mean
Strictly Better as far as I'm concerned.
It was bound to happen eventually.
I'm fine with that, honestly.
That last bit made me laugh way harder than it should have.

Here because of the LRRcast using a clip from this. Still one of my all time favorite sketches.
Of course Beej was out for a genocidal weapon the whole time.
Fun fact- this was the first piece of non-Friday Nights LRR content I ever saw back in 2017. (Discovered Friday Nights on the M:tG channel shortly after Aether Revolt came out, started binging the series, and eventually this sketch got recommended after one of the FN episodes!)
It’s such a good scene. Still keep coming back to it years later.
Five years old today! And still hilarious on every single viewing.
If Captain Brainburn's Mnemonic Fugue were a real sauce, I would buy a bottle.... if only as a conversation piece.
The Second Child And the best part is that it is a recurring conversation piece, because they won't remember talking about it each time they try it. :-D
+Michael Moore are you admiralmemo?
@@cl4tt3rf4ct8 Yep.
I just come back to this video every once in a while for Graham's beautiful rendition of "This one will kill... *Everyone*..."
I miss skits like these. Checkpoint and Magic the Gathering pays the bills, but this stuff is truly amazing.
it's like the kick of a good hot sauce but literal and with knives might be one of the funniest lines ever said
This is such a great LRR sketch. Both Beej and Graham are so great in it, and the writing is really good.
How can Beej act so childish and so adultish at the same time?! How?!!
+Sanketh Bhaskar (S3) Beej magic. He is a Beejomancer.

Of all the sketches that were gone during the The Technical Issues this is the one I tried to link the most. Welcome back!
This is my favorite LLR sketch and it still hold up in 2019
I come back to watch this one every so often.
The funny part is I've had a conversation like this one trips to the pepper palace lol. I'm still waiting for that last one that ends all life in the Galaxy. However I have purchased a few that have end my day really quickly lol.

Temporal Patricide always cracks me up
This is like a Hot Ones lineup but infinitely more M E T A L
Thought it was done with Clinically Insane Clyde's Colon Corrosion. I was wrong. So VERY wrong.
I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Graham describing these hot sauces is a hoot. Reminds me of Monty Python's Crunchy Frog sketch.
Those first two sauces actually sound pretty good.
I'm glad to see the Monty python influence in you guys, that felt straight out of flying circus. LOVE it
Still one of my favorite videos ever!
I've got to start a line of hot sauce, these names are too good to not be used.
Watched this again, b/c WTH NOT?!
Ah Beej...you crazy bugger. I have been killing my tastebuds for over 25 years now, so I too know the feel of the never-ending succession of hot sauce challenges, haha!
This entire episode was pure gold.
One of my favorite videos ever
2:33 when the hot sauce so good you ignite your spark
This might be my all-time favorite non-Friday-Nights LRR sketch.
Despite countless sketches since, this is still my favorite LRR Sketch yet.
Small thing: cat dander is part of the blend that destroys all life. That is brilliant.
Still my favourite LRR sketch. Reminds me of "We can get them for you wholesale" by Neil Gaiman.
This might be one of the best strips. I'm putting it in my top 1 list for sure.
"Top 10 you mean?"
I know what I said.
I thought he was gonna drop the world-ending hot sauce ob the floor.
The most realistic part of this sketch is how bosses treat their employees.
still keeps it flavour after all this time.
Yeah, even after all these years, it's still as spicy as ever.
I laughed out loud for the sauce at 3:24 . "turning you into .. More hot sauce
They should redo this one, you can just keep digging and digging and digging on this concept.

probably time travel. It's always time travel.
Nah. you just tried Brainburn's.
temporal patricide seems like a good magic card
How does this video not have more views/likes? It's great!
HOLY SHIT I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING YOU GUYS FOR YEARS but I never watched past the credits so I am ONLY NOW SEEING THE PART WITH KATHLENE AT THE END
Great stuff guys good ol' Graham escalates things quickly comedy is always good :P
Why can't I stop all this laughing?
9 Years later, this remains my favorite LRR sketch.
Sometimes, as I'm watching the weekly LRR sketch, I can guess as to who wrote it as the sketch develops. This was one of those times.
I've seen this sketch at least four times before, but only now do I realize what a nasty joke the name "McDougal's Caber Crater" is for a hot sauce.
I had a Carolina Reaper about six months ago, which averages about 25% capsaicin. I have to say that anyone who wants more than that is insane.
Yeah, like Clinically Insane Clyde.
My kids absolute favourite LRR sketch.
I will never not watch this when UA-cam recommends it again

Bravo.
Their best sketch
you guys are so funny. it's a shame more people aren't subscribed
this was a great sketch
Great stuff. I honestly was curious with each new one where it would go.
On rewatch, I just have to praise the delivery on Beej's final line before the credits, That could so easily have not worked.
Where can I get the Sauce of Trans Your Gender?
I love this one
This makes me miss my days as a black market hot sauce dealer.
Is it bad that I memorized this whole skit?
Still love this one. Still damn funny.
minmonitic fugue sounds like a magic card. As does "Cellular genocide"
Holy shit, you guys predicted Hot Ones.

I'd eat that sauce in a heartbeat.
Doing my occasional check in on this video. Yep. It's still amazing.
Probably the best lrr scetch
From the start and to the end
I'm also biased cuz I like me some hot food and Beej
I would definitely buy crates of #1, #3, and #4, with a bottle of Temporal Patricide for good measure.
One drop is enough to kill all life on earth. Hmm I will take five. lol
NOOOOO, Paul's Desert Bus beard has perished!
I was slightly confused the first time I watched this one-I had recently been to a hot sauce shop with my parents and this sketch took a while to get past their normal talk. Also because I had somehow gotten the lead singers of Van Halen mixed up.
Why is it like Lord Rakdos is trying to open his own restaurant?
This comment was made after the Under Torchlight campaign of Dice Friends, right?
I love the "ill take five" at the end
Here in Mexico there are lots of restaurants that already have some of those sauces XD
I think been doesn't understand that once one bottle is used, all life will end
I think he understands perfectly, he's just insane.
I really miss LRR doing sketches…
