Thank you for this video. I've been researching a future trip to Tokyo using your vids and a couple of other youtubers and have been loving the great insights you've all provided in your content. Arigato gozai masu!
Hi paolo. Is it ok to narita express with heavy luggage? I'm referring to the station's accesibility (elevators) particularly ikebukuro and tokyo station
Hi Paolo. I have a question for you: at Narita Airport, do you know how to find Narita airport's mascot: Unari-kun? Thank you for your informative videos!
Update: The LCC buses "The Access Narita" and "Tokyo Shuttle" are merged in February 2020, and are now called "Airport Bus TYO-NRT". Also, the fare has been changed to 1300 yen.
When I went to Tokyo, I opted for the limousine bus. There are many reasons for that including I knew I would be tired after a long flight from the U.S., I didn't want to drag my luggage through train stations and then to the hotel, I couldn't get lost, and it was just plain easier. You can't go wrong when they leave you off right at your hotel. Once I'm at the hotel, I can rest a bit before exploring Tokyo, getting my bearings, and then figure out the trains and streets. I did love Tokyo, but things are initially confusing.
When I saw this video and I realized that it was you I felt so relieved because you are very clear when you explain something, thank you for everything, I love your videos
I saw lots of videos about how to travel to and from Narita to Tokyo center - your video is the best one!! Thank you so much for the visuals in this video. SO MUCH BETTER!!!! So relieved to have stumble upon your channel. I am going to Japan next month,
Hi Paolo, Thank you for the tip to ride the train from Nirata airport to Shibuya. Your video made it so easy for us to travel. We were in Tokyo during spring break.
Hey Sang, glad you were able to get around with the info. Sometimes it is a bit confusing since the airport is far from central Tokyo. Hope you had a enjoyable Spring break!
Thanks so much for this video!! We're planning to travel to Japan for the 2020 Olympics, this will be soooo helpful to us, thank you for the helpful links.
Hi Paolo! Thanks for this and all your other Japan vids, very helpful and eases my anxiety on planning! Im worried we might waste lots of time getting lost bec we dont understand the language and signs... so your vids help us be more familiar! huge thanks!!
💜💙I can't believe I've never seen any of your videos till today, UA-cam needs to step up their recommended game. Your videos are so informative, and it's not the same stuff I already know. I love how you go so into detail, it's really helpful. I'm getting overwhelmed with how much I didn't know 🤯 and I love your merch, so cute ☺️
You're the first blogger, ever, that I've encountered to mention Access Narita. During my first time in Japan (I used Narita Airport), riding the train was kinda intimidating because, well, it was my first time. I didn't know how to buy the ticket and I was worried I might miss my station and stuff. My friend introduced me to Access Narita. It's cheap at 1000Yen and it just takes 1 hour to Tokyo Station. And from Tokyo Station, you can practically go anywhere. You just have to find your way inside, look for elevators in case you have a heavy luggage, and find your platform. Same going back to Narita, check out the departure schedule of Access Narita in Tokyo Station bus stop at Yaesu entrance (also in Ginza and Shinonome).
Hey TabascoChipotle, thanks for the feedback. The 1000 Yen bus transportation is a great way to save some money when traveling from Narita. But since I live in Shibuya, it is sometimes more convenient for me just to take the Narita Express straight to Shibuya. It comes down to cost vs time. Really depends on the circumstance. Anyway, hope to talk to you again in another video.
Regular train doesn't take 2 hours... Keisei Line Limited Express is ~75-80 minutes to Ueno, for 1030 yen. Airport express is about 60-65 minutes for 1240 yen. Skyliner is about 45-50 minutes for 2470 yen. So, Keisei Line is in competition with the LCC in terms of price and time. If you would just miss the train, then you take the bus. If you would just miss the bus, then maybe the next train is sooner. Of course there are other factors involved, but not quite sure why you wiped it off the table so fast. Also, if your trip is two weeks or less, you can get a roundtrip NEX ticket for 4000 yen. Additionally, the roundtrip NEX ticket has pretty significant through benefits... after you get off the NEX, so long as you don't leave the JR system, you can go as far as Yokohama/Kamakura/Yokosuka, Takao, Okutama, or Omiya on the ticket. I'm never there for 2 weeks or under though.

Quick question buddy Hope you see it. I know you have lots to look at evety day. Anyway, we are getting a JR rail pass and wanna use it on the NEX into the city. So my question is , we know we have to get it validated before the first time we use it. So is it considered first time use when we get on the NEX the same day we arrive at Narita? And do those seats have to be reserved? We have enough time on our passes. Just want to know if it has to be validated before we get in the NEX to go into the city. Thanks

Hi,roundtrip NEX tix that you mention, can be valid for how long and can be use for how many times?
As stated, it's roundtrip... that means there and back. And as stated, the "back to Narita" part has to be done within 2 weeks.
For me, the Keisei Line's cheapest option was perfect as Ueno was closest to my final destination in Tokyo.

Hey Rindu, you are going to have a blast. Thanks for watching and hope to talk to you again soon.
so excited to visit Japan in June 2019
Thanks. A bit more comprehensive than some other vidoes I've seen about this. It's nice to know my options.
Hey M1cr0p47, happy to share the info. Hope you enjoy your trip to Tokyo and to catch in the next video.
Thanks for the tips! I only have one question. Can I take the limousine bus to any of the hotel stop which I actually ain’t staying in that hotel? I just wanted to get off at that location where it closes to where I actually stay. Thanks!
Thanks a lot for the info
Quick question buddy
Hope you see it.
Thanks
Who's here after his street food tour at Narita?
I was like "There's no way there is an japanese int. airport in a city i never heard of" and it made me curious. I was surorised to find out that he made a video about it :-D
