The 2018 Cartier Santos de Cartier includes the most innovative bracelet of any luxury watch of 2018. Launched at SIHH, the new Cartier Santos includes two mechanisms by the name of Quick Switch and Smart Link. This is a how-to user's guide for the new Cartier Santos Bracelet.
Smart Links is exactly what the name suggests: a smarter way of sizing a luxury watch bracelet without tools. This system includes a finger-operable switch inside each removable link.
Pressing the switch releases the link's retaining bar and ejects it by spring energy. The bar cannot separate completely from the link, so the two pieces cannot be scattered by accident. Cartier understands that small parts quickly become lost! The Smart Link system can be rejoined by hand to restore the bracelet's integrity.
Cartier Quick Switch is a quick release lug system developed from its original quick release strap system as launched on 2002's Cartier Roadster. The new Quick Switch straps and bracelets can be removed by depressing a trigger underneath the end link of the bracelet. Removable bracelet rails allow the Cartier strap or bracelet to exit and anchor to the lugs from underneath; this prevents scratching or denting of the lugs as seen from overhead.
We're here today to breakdown the bracelet of the new Santos line of watches as they're quite unique! The Cartier Santos seen here is encased in 39.2mm of stainless steel and yellow gold surrounding a silver dial on a stainless steel and yellow gold bracelet. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, and date. The watch also measures 9.5mm in thickness and 47.7mm from lug-to-lug.

I have this watch and love the ease of it, but my wrist is right between too links, slightly too tight when one removed, and slightly too loose if it remains. Is there any way to micro adjust the size without removing or replacing links? Seems I would not be the only one with this issue. thanks!
