I literally just finished building in that case yesterday lol. . I need more of those reverse direction fans. Why doesn't every fan manufacturer make them lol.
Good concept here, love it. Keep the videos coming! Since you started uploading again I've noticed that the UA-cam algo has been more kind to your channel, the videos actually show up in the timeline when released! This video will be useful to many who might be looking to part out a price to performance build after the holidays. Cheers!
First and foremost: nice new intro. Second, good to see you stick around after your break from last year and your uncertain in the channel’s future. To the build, you made great picks out of the non-specific viewer questions (such as make/model of case and CPU fan). I’m thinking through, however, it is kind of sad to think a mid-range PC like this sits on the $1500 ballpark - that used to be a high end system a few short years ago. And other than the PSU, which I understand the rationale, guess I got it all else in the majority, so I’m welcome? Thank you for making another viewer’s PC and for all you do. Stay conscious and keep showing others the more expensive is not a requirement when you want to have fun.
G'day Brian, Thank you for doing "Viewer's Choice PC" again this year as I really enjoy this Build Video Format, Thanks also for showing the complete Poll Results as it is good to see how viewers are thinking if they were to buy from what parts are available, like 2GB M.2 being more popular than 500GB even though it is a much higher % of Budget $$$ in this full build price range.
Nice Build. One note. The 4th fan is intended to be installed on the top of the PSU shroud, not the top of the case. It's a reverse flow fan like the side fans so it's an intake fan. I only know this because I'm currently reviewing the same case and initially made the same mistake. It does work on the top but you're just fighting physics.
I feel like a black case would have looked better, but I do love the fans. Are the blades switchable? Like can they be flipped to set them as exhaust or is that just how they had them manufactured specifically for the case?
Thats a Spicy Build! I also love the Montech case, it looks like its very new, i dont see it anywhere tho, ive been planning to buy the Air 1000 Premium one, but i could change to this one, its just Super clean! Montech is a budget based company, with actually decent quality on their pc cases. Its why i chose to pick their case.
Oh boy, I am screaming at my PC right now after seeing the second RAM module not seated correctly - the clip on the right side is not in correctly. Still watching. Hope you catch it! ^^
Thanks for the video, I noticed after watching multiple reviews of the Sky Two white version that some cases have the front 2 side intake fans with grey blades and some have solid white. I'm not sure what they would ship out from retailers currently
they changed them after the review batches went out, this was to help people differentiate between the two more easily. I presume they had employees installing the wrong fans on occasion and decided to make the change, the white and black versions of the fans now come with gray fans, the model is the Montech RX 120, while the exhaust fans are the AX 120.
They work just fine for cooling, everything idles around 30-35C and they are quiet too. The RGB looks beautiful in person, the videos do not do them justice. I thought the lack of light on the blades would bother me as well but once the build was done it was insane!
Nice build, Planning on moving to a new case and really fancy this one. I was looking at the Lian Li but this budget suits better. If only I could find a UK seller for it. If anyone knows?
Awesome content as always. Can't help but notice: You still do the "left side of my face, now the right side of my face, aaaand the left side of my face, and the right side of my face, aaaaand..."-thing :D Is that a UA-cam thing or do you talk with people IRL like that, too?
Why would anybody pick an amd card while nvidia has better dlss that is supported in much more games, better rt performance, nvidia reflex that is better then anti lag, nvenc encoder, shadowplay and nvidia broadcast?
You think you’ve lost touch with the love of the game but in reality you, the ‘reviewers’, and some others have and have lost touch with your inner gamer and the reason why you don’t notice the ‘gamer’ community, that doesn’t pay attention to performance gains and FPS counters, is because they’re too busy playing games, for the love of the game. 👍🏼😁✌🏼
@@BPSCustoms that depends, it's a affordable way to build one. But the 7600x is a smart one if there is budget for it. I'm not saying you are wrong or anything negative, the 7600x is actually smarter then a Intel platform ATM because of longevity of the socket. Now the one I said in my view is a smart way to get a very good computer and try and get the most out of cheap boards a good CPU and cheap ram( as you don't need crazy ram for this CPU) so I'm putting the money on the GPU + 100 or 200. I just forgot something money for the CPU cooler is needed as the 5800x3d is missing one .
@@xkillerpn tbh going on new CPU platforms isn't really nessacry as good deals can be found on older ones and CPUs last for years I'm still using a 10th gen i5 out here alot of people I know still on AM4 and LGA 1151 but ofc with the dropping price of 12th gen makes it worth it.
So AMD wins again in the GPU department. Nvidia really shot themselves in both legs with the prices. Too bad that some people do not understand that you do not need to have the latest and greatest in order to enjoy their PC. But your viewers know what's what and select with their head. 😁
The 3060 ti has the same performance as the 6700xt and costs the same while having much better features like dlss which has better quality then fsr 2 (especially bellow 4k) and is supported in much more games, better rt performance, nvidia reflex, nvenc encoder, shadowplay and nvidia broadcast. But yea, most of the cmmunity voting are brain dead amd sheep.
@@crodude743 You seem to have a lot of money on your hands. Good for you but the majority of the people do not have the kind of cash Nvidia wants people to pay, maybe from the 2nd hand market but there you have to be carefull because most cards so far have been mined on. Right now AMD with their 6000 series are bang for the buck. Most people do not stream and they do not need nvenc, or raytracing.
Boom

Well done everyone! I agree with Bryan, very nice build!

I moved it purposefully for aesthetics. A permanent build would be configured slightly differently
@@BPSCustoms the case was definitely intended for an AIO. But you gotta do what the ppl demand 😉
Just came across this video, I'm building a system in the Sky Two tomorrow when it arrives :-)
Corsair’s small logo on the ram sticks , looks better than most other ram, liked the case as well.
I feel like a black case would have looked better, but I do love the fans. Are the blades switchable? Like can they be flipped to set them as exhaust or is that just how they had them manufactured specifically for the case?
Great concept and execution!
I was planning on buying this case but its currently unavailable on amazon. Is there any other vendors in the US?
Was there at least a vote on the color of the case?
Great video Brian👍💪✊, loving your uploads 🥰! Take a well deserved break this Xmas 🎅🤶🎄 through to New Years 🎉🥳🎉✨ and recharge yourself!

Good build overall but a black case would have tied it all together for sure.
Nice build twitter, everyone can’t afford a 2000+ pc

How do the fans cool? Can they be hooked to the MB so we can use the PWM? Plus they need better A-RGD on the blades.

I think I voted for a last gen CPU, but it turned out great!

Great idea for a video! Loved it man
Can you change the RGB on the cooler?

how to control the rgb fans on the case? is there any software to do it?
i know there's a button but the modes are very limited
i would have gone with a 5800x non 3D and a b450, updated, save even more money towards an even better gpu like a 6800xt
Looks pretty good. Are all the fans exhaust? Did try to set side ones as intake to see how temps did?
Those are reverse direction fans. The 2 front fans are intake. The bottom fan is also intake. The rear fan is exhaust
Did you enable smart access memory?
yes it was enabled
Was there a cost for the whole build? I didn't see it in the video.
I didn’t total it
CPU paste???? 🙂
Yo Brian, is the Montech Sky Two case the one you had blurred out on the other video that was under embargo?
Nope. Stay tuned!
Ps 😞I really like that case but can't find one anywhere down here 😞
Release tomorrow
Love it. Great video!
thats pretty cool
how the hell are the temperatures so good without any intake???
3 of the fans are intake
You can see that the side fans are reversed pitched, so they are intake.
Oh, those reversed fans are actually really dope. I was about to ask the same question
oh, i see

How to build a gaming computer in 2022. Cheap b550 board+ 5800x3d+ 32g 3200 mhz cl16 cheap ram+ 6800xt+750w gold PSU.
That’s the only option?
This comment is cope. With 12th gen, 13th gen and all of the AM4 deals. There are SO many ways to build a gaming computer.

Nah. 13600K with B560, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, 850W Gold PSU and RTX 3060Ti/3070. 500GB fast NVME drive and additional 1/2TB drive, either Sata or M.2.
