Loving it. Think this is the first time I’ve really sat down and played with the Ice delay on my Timeline 😀. Appreciate David’s sonic exploration of some of his effects pedals - inspires me to do the same and be a bit more adventurous!
Amazing tones and parts truly inspiring. I have a question though, how much do you use your other pickups? In all these play throughs I don’t think I’ve seen you use anything but Bridge. Here is why I ask. I sometimes find that I get a tone dialed in that sound good on my bridge pickup and then sound VERY average on middle and just straight out muddy on neck. Any advice for this? Or just stick to bridge pickup?
I'm not David and I'm months late, but I'll give my unrequested 2 cents anyway... that's just gonna happen unless you get a lower output, brighter pickup in that position. Some guys change them out, I've seen some people remove most of the pole pieces from a humbucker to make it brighter as an alternative. But otherwise, it's common to get a great tone that works for the bridge but not the neck, and vice versa. As Bruce Hornsby told us, that's just the way it is. Edit- also check your pickup height. This has a much larger effect on clarity and tone than people realize. Farther away will equal lower output but also cleaner sounds.
its the pick scrape for me

Amazing tutorial! Also, if anyone is unclear what he is playing look at his tuner during the playthrough, it is picking up everything note for note.
