It was nice to follow you on your walk across streets I visited many years ago. Maybe not a million views, but certainly a million people have walked the streets you have.
Thanks! I didn't expect this video to get a million views, but it makes me happy when it's a dark cold day in December (I live in Pennsylvania) and I can watch videos from my trips this past summer
I appreciate this video not having volumes of chattering and every thought that passes thru the videographers mind. Thus was very informative and relaxing just as it is.. thank you!
I went there last year with my girlfriend and we stayed at an Airb&b in Ellsworth! Best way we could have done it. I love both towns and Maine overall and it holds a special place in our hearts. I was missing it a little extra today and decided to watch this, thank you
I did a leaf peeping tour back in 2014, just loved Bar Harbor and Acadia. I like the memories your walking tour brough back. I hope to visit again when we are all free to travel, spend more time and explore once more. Thank you.
My wife and I flew up from Indiana.....stayed a few days in "Bah Habah"...then down to OOB....I LOVE THIS STATE....EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!!!! Met a wonderful couple walking thier CKSPs in that park....
Been to & stayed in & around Bar Harbor 5 times since 2013. All of this is so familiar to me. When we lived in Maine in the mid 1960s my Dad hated Bar Harbor & would avoid it to & from trip into Acadia. Check out the side streets as there are lots of other businesses & beautiful old churches & old houses to see. If you had continued by Main Street of a little further, you would have seen Havana & Mache (2nd restaurant has been sold & it now called Salt & Steel).
Fun Fact:Bar Harbor Is in a very popular video game called Fallout. You vist Bar Harbor in Fallout 4 (it's a DLC) and its call Far Harbor you have radioactive fog,a Synth Colony at Arcadia,a cult of nut jobs called the Children of Atom who worship nukes (but they most likely worship Atum the Egyptian God of Creation which would explain their immunity to Radiation) chickens oh and a soda call Vim
@@OBRTravel yep in the game it's called Far Harbor since the sign at the port is 210 years old but people live on the port since the town is covered in a nuclear fog that has mutated animals and people who have gone mad being it to long
I live in NH and it might shock you, but I have never been, and I really want go one day... one thing I did notice was there are a lot of old people there, like a lot can you explain to me why this is the case
Wow you should definitely consider taking a trip there sometime if you're that close! I think there are a lot of older people there because if you plan on staying in Acadia and don't want to camp, Bar Harbor has expensive and beautiful hotels or house rentals. I assume most younger people stay in the campgrounds? Purely a guess based on convenience and budget differences correlated with age
You see, England (UK), his is what a harbour SHOULD look like. Gosh, Americans make the effort to make their public spaces attractive. You should see our harbours and seaside towns.
Has anyone else been to Bar Harbor or Acadia?
OBR Travel is the Hemp store still there?
