Great to see this show again, and to see Bob Ridgely. He was a very good actor, and I remember him as the announcer and sidekick in the 1960s on "The Woody Woodbury Show." Bob passed away in 1997 but Woody is still loving life in Florida at age 98.

Thanks Wink for this classic. As an Arkansas resident i assure you it is no longer "The Land of Opportunity"

Thank you Wink for posting this episode of YDS. This is a show that deserved a longer run than it had.

I agree. One of the reasons it got cancelled is that the ABC network had picked up "The Edge of Night" from CBS and wanted to find a time slot for the soap.

Agreed; had this show been slotted at 2:30pm after The $10,000 Pyramid with Dick Clark, it would have been on well into 1976.

Game show darlings Betty White & Elaine Joyce seen here together other than Match Game and Tattletales. Betty appeared frequently on the original 1963-69 NBC series which looked like Password. Check out Betty's appearance from the first week in 1963 here on UA-cam.

The late Tom Kennedy's birth name was James Narz. His brother Jack also had a great career hosting game shows.

This game is cool. it reminds me of a combination of 'The $25,000 Pyramid " and "Taboo." ;)

Or presenting clues to various "Passwords" to put together to form a "Concentration" rebus answer.

They should've explained the rules at the beginning of each show.

Yeah! I had no idea what was going on and why they were giving clues the way they were until the video was almost over!

You aren't lying there. She was amazing in Pyramid, Password, The Match Game, and Body Language to name a few.

That's interesting how you have to come at these answers sideways. I could see this getting a modern revival.

I was confused when they had "Guess Who" posted when the answer was actually "Eugene O'Neill". And I loved this game. This was fun at its best. I think I remember the last episode when the answer was "Ray Walson" and the woman was "Ray Ralson" and they disqualified her. I think that was the last episode. I guess we don't need to know what happened to it, eh? LOL!

When "Guess Who?" appears on screen, the home audience is not told the answer so as to encourage playing along.

They say Rex Reed was not a very nice person... Is that true?

Rex Reed reminds me of a male Beatrice Arthur.

By any chance can a YDS! episode from this time or Jim Peck's be found where Dusty Springfield was on the panel?
