My most favourite phone ever was the p30 pro last phone to have Google services and I still think that if it wasn't for the US ban Huawei would be the number one cell phone manufacturer.
without the sanction, Huawei would have been by far the top brand all over the world, I used P40 and I know how good this company is, I'm still using their watch and headset :)
Let's disect what you just said. You claimed Huawei would have long taken over by now if not stopped by the US. I bought the mate 20 Pro when the Huawei hype was starting to blow up. At first, i was very impressed with the device. It had many things the iPhone at the time did not have. Fast charging, display fingerprint reader, Face ID with dedicated sensor, and so on. But the big issue with all Chinese phones is the software. They can't make it right. There is too much bloatware, if not bloatware it looks half-baked and not thought out. The Software experience on samsung mobiles or iPhones is miles ahead. And last but not least do you trust the chinese government?
@Grim_Azrael I don't trust any government to be honest specially American, to be honest my experience was awesome and there are many things I miss in Huawei, but now I'm using Samsung cause I couldn't live without the Android
Thats a long time ago, ie bad software. Now they are developing their own as a priority and not as an afterthought. Just look at we chat or tiktok or xiaomi and their electric cars etc, the software is getting a lot better and is better than west if you know how to read Chinese and use in China.
And have you any evidence of Chinese software spying? Because Snowden showed us USA has rooted and spied on everything.
But let's assume they do spy and do the same as usa. So what? If you live in the west, what can Chinese gov do to you? Chinese gov can't force your gov to do anything, but USA can kidnap you or just straight up make your gov send you to USA on false charges. Just see assange. Even worse if you live in 5 eyes country who all spy on each other and share the info and they are basically all vassal states of USA.
Id rather china gov or Chinese companies spy on me and USA and west doesn't than the other way around. I don't fear Chinese gov spying on me but I do fear USA and my own government(5 eyes). Chinese companies can't be forced to hand over all my info to my government or USA gov. that's a bonus for me.
If you prefer your own gov spying on you and think that's safer then ok. But I can talk shit about my gov in West and they can't touch me. I can talk shit about Chinese gov and they can't censor or touch me either. So best of both worlds.
Great phone! I am asking my son to buy one for me. He’s currently traveling in China.
Even local Chinese people are having trouble to easily buy the pro version, I don't think you son can get it during a short traveling time, unless you want other versions like pro+ or ultra.
In Sweden, we cannot use Huawei after the first of June if you want a BankID that everyone must have to do most things when it comes to banking or connected authorities. That's how it goes when you have to dance to USA Pipe.
We have the same issue with the BankID app in Norway
It has an gbox pre installed. Could work
I'm on the same boat. My last Huawei is a P30 Pro. stop me from using Huawei is BankID also Android Auto. They are releasing this phone in Germany. let's wait if the phone can install the Google app. I was thinking about the Magic 60pro, but the Pura 70 just so attempting.

Watching this from my Huawei Nova 5t. That I've had since 2019. Battery life amazing! Camera. Quality amazing!
Im in the US and have been using Huawei since the P50 Pro was released. Just got my Pura 70 Ultra. This thing is a beast. All of the apps I need work and for everything else there is Gbox. (Drive, Maps, etc).
All my banking app, social media apps, smart home apps, securty camera apps works great. I just port it over using Phone Clone from my S22 Ultra.

Watching this from p20 pro, bought it from 2018 and still functioning good. I can't imagine how much of a beast is a Pura 70.

I'm using P30p, still original battery, almost 4-5 years.
I use it heavily everyday, luckily it still works fine, although it suggests to go to the service
I'm using P20 pro. It's already 6 years. Battery still good.

@@jeanlaikan8400 yes, it can run all google moblie servioces! I realy love my Pura70 Ultra. Super charge(20%-100% in 20 min), Stable and smooth system(my last smartphone P50Pro, I have never rebooted except for system updates）， the best camera!

It is in China. That's their second biggest market and iPhone sales are dropping like a stone
Actually, Apple earnings came out yesterday, and that was fake news by people who have an anti-Apple agenda. Sales dropped 7% in the latest quarter, but that was down to supply constraints (a problem for a week).
iphone is only strong in the u.s but outside the u.s huawei and android phones rules
Good! Let the market decide. At least China allows Apple to compete. Unlike America where they are afraid of fair competition and need to cheat and play dirty tricks to protect Apple and Google

It is very common for people in China to have two mobile phones. For example, one for personal use, one for work, one for gaming, one for photography, one for internet browsing, and one for watching movies. You can customize these combinations based on your own needs and preferences.
Still waiting for Huawei flagship phone to come to Malaysia 😢. Imagine US didn't ban Huawei.. they should be top selling phones by far now

As a photographer that's one of the best photos I've seen on a smartphone. And yes, huawei were the first one on those 3 categories but this pop up camera lens is not. I think it was the Phantom phone made it last year? Forgot the name hehe new sub here! great video!

Nitpicker and die-hard brand loyalist maybe. In China we often make jokes at those ppl, we are convinced that those types bring microscope and vernier scales with them when buying phones.

I live in the states and had a P40 pro. It.was perfectly useable with a few work arounds. I currently own a vivo x100 pro that i imported.

I agree with your opinions about 3 things what is matter
I prefer a pill cut out like the P40 Pro because you get secure facial recognition. It is so much quicker and more convenient than fingerprint. I like that the Mate series keeps the 3d scanner and Honor too with the Magic 6 Pro.

It may not be announced on the time you make this video, but I think it got a global version using MIUI14.2. It actually run Google apps and GMS pretty well with MicroG.
I must wait until mid June until it will release by my country. I cant wait
I had the first dual, the P9... it was really fascinating... cover the black and white secondary camera, and you really notice the difference in image quality out of the color main.
I still have the first telephoto, the P20 Pro, which was the last phone you could do raw black and white out of. And I use the first periscope, the Mate 40 Pro (well, second after the P40 Pro) as my daily work camera.
As for that pop out lens, sadly, I think Tecno beat them to the punch by about a year... but Huawei's uses a bigger sensor and comes with a variable aperture... and much better output.
What about the satellite communication capability? Is it included?

Rumours say in the EU, it will cost €1600, so I do not think Apple will be too worried. Though there may be some pre-order freebies, it is likely you will still have to pay for them.

Now at Malaysia it was launched the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro and Ultra with EMUI 14.2 version. I don't think Global version is with Harmony OS

@@ibrahimtouman2279Huawei can't launch Harmony OS ver 4 & above just yet as outside of China, they need to train the app developers on the Harmony OS first. It's going to be 1-2 yrs after the global launch of Harmony OS before they can move Huawei phones to full Harmony OS.

The LG G5 was the 1st dual camera phone as far as i remeber.
The definition of the dual camera system is two cameras, with one sensor taking a picture and the other adding elemts to that picture simultaneously was first done by huawei with their p9. The LG g5 simply has two separate modules that allow for a wide angle and a standard mode: both of which do not work in tandem.
And even if you want to say that the g5 was the first, dual camera modules (not system) go way back to HTC in 2011

I watched a video showing how Huawei phone, tablet and notebook integrate the way Apple can only dream of. Seamless sliding app from one device to another, spread multiple app across multiple devices basically creating one single system. Maybe it’s a blessing that US banned Huawei from Android OS resulted Harmony OS, denied Huawei using Bluetooth is just ridiculous then Huawei came out with NearLink, which transmits lossless audio is simply music to music lover. Apple Music offers lossless audio but without phone jack, no Bluetooth or adapter can give you the quality sound that NearLink can.
Is it also 5G capable

99% of google apps work with GBox (with Google Play Store) or microG (with Aurora Store) both work the same, with updates coming automatically :)

Based on advertising I bought Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, I tried it, but somehow I never started to use it on a daily base. So I gave it to my wife, but she also didn't use it much. So I asked my children to take it, but without success. Nobody wants it, it's unused in a paper box for almost a year... Guess what brand they use instead.
Even though banned where I live, most likely I'll be sourcing it in a roundabout way

it's not a pop-up camera. It's literally a dedicated retractable lens for adjusting focal length.
