So a little late but basically what you do is put foundations all over the floor build a pillar and start with ceilings at you desired height. Since there are foundations straight under it you can build "floating" ceilings. You can also use this method if you want to build a bridge but you dont want it to be full of pillars

Its Not that good of a spot, you could soak half the tower and raft raid the rest
