Escape Or Defeat | Tyranids vs Imperium - Warhammer 40k Narrative Battle Report | Part 1

Narrative Report? On Weird Wolf Games?! Yep! 12 Dreadnoughts, 1 Cannonness and a LOT of Tyranids. Welcome to the Legend of Elthyria.
Will and Dan join us for Part 1 of a narrative battle report series, based on the planet of Elthyria. A ruined Hive World overrun by Hive Fleet Draugr. The lone cannonness Audrey awaits an extraction from the planet after successfully holding the rearguard against the Tyranid Swarms. Protected by Evacuation (extraction...) squad Delta, 12 noble Dreadnoughts hold back the oncoming tide, can she escape through the teleportarium and seek reinforcements from around the Imperium? Will there be miracles? Or will a lot of hungry bugs finally finish off the remaining biomatter on the planet. Only one way to find out.
This is our first attempt at a Narrative game, taking a break from our usual Monday battle reports, so any and all feedback is welcome! This is a different layout, they're so surrounded they almost look like they were hostages and the two teams were trying to take them out or rescue them.

Aha! So this is our first narrative game where we’re not trying to play to win, we’re trying to tell a story (and win.. ..) so hopefully it looks badass and last stand-ey!
