    Looks awesome! I just pulled the trigger myself - went out of my way and used Ian’s Big Rock Moto’s link to Revzilla for ordering. I found a pair of sample a3 pants and hope the colors work, but I got the same petrol clay, in large. Anyway, I really like the candid nature of both yours and Big Rock’s videos - there’s something more credible when you’re not hollywoood-perfect like the real pros. Thanks and sure hope to see ya guys in the road - or even off-road too

      I'm a huge fan of Ian's he does a great job, I'm smiling ear to ear that you compared us...Thank you for the positive comment. The badlands is a great jacket it's like putting on body armor for me once it's on I don't feel the weight, rain wind snow is not getting through. Thank you please ride safe and maybe we'll share the trail...I'm old and not very good :)

      @@maraudermitchelli I really appreciate your reply! In the meantime, you should do a video on regular guys getting together with other regular guys for trips or group rides. Just sayin', I need that sort of advice.

    I wear the Klim Latitude jacket and pants. Been wearing them for around 50,000 miles. Both have held up well. Expensive, certainly. But I have no complaints about the quality. I do like the fact that the Badlands has the waist belt and chest protection which the Latitude doesn't. I wear a Forcefield chest protector and Fox Racing kidney belt, but would be nice to have a jacket with both built in. Best of luck on your weight loss journey.....seems you've been doing quite well so far. Impressive.

    Great vid! I've been running the Badlands Pro Petrol/Strike Orange for 2 years now, and absolutely love it. I don't think the pictures on Klim's website do it justice. It looks SO much better in person. I call it a 3-season jacket, anything above 80 degrees and it does get quite toasty if you're not moving. This is coming from a rider based in the Carolinas. In addition to the SuperFabric, most people don't fully appreciate that this jacket has custom-made D30 armor (that's exclusive to this jacket, and it's big brother, the Badlands Pro A3) that's so much more protective because it's bigger and covers more area. The only other company I'm aware of that does is this is Rukka (from Finland). Sure, it's pricy, but buy once, cry once is my motto!

      I've had this jacket for 8 months and not worn it during the summer...but I totally agree with you. I have some mesh Harley jackets I'll wear but I'm also debating an Klim summer jacket...as you know you can't beat their quality. When I wear the Badlands it's like my Ballistic vest...you feel so protected. Thank you for commenting please continue ride safe.

    Several years ago I purchased 2 Klim snowmobile helmets to wear riding my Polaris RZR. Kinda looks like a motor cross helmet but it has around 42 air vents in the helmet. You can ride on a very hot day and your head doesn’t sweat. They listed for around $400.00 each but I got them on clearance for about $200. I would never sell them for any price! Klim makes very superior products!

      I couldn't agree with you more. It's not that other brands out good...it's Klim is just so reliable and trusting they don't wear out. Thank you for the comment ride safe.

    I’m surprised living where we do that you’re not into snowmobiling!! Uh oh Marauders I see Mitchelli test riding sleds now…the wife’s gonna kill me lol! U look great buddy, rock solid work keep it up! I’m sure you feel much better!!

    • @maraudermitchelli

      James I've thought about getting a sled many times and test rode them years ago...as a kid I use to snowmobile. Sometime the local riders only get 1 or 2 days riding around my area. The trails open late then consistent weather is needed to open the trails. When the trails open the snowmobilers are out in force. Most people in my area travel to Canada or tug hill to ride several times a year. No sled in my future...maybe okay maybe I should test drive some :) Be safe

    Jacket & helmet combo looks awesome! I agree, Klim is expensive but worth it. I just bought the Carlsbad but the sleeves were too long so I had them shortened 2 1/2”, love the fit now. Like you said, you don’t feel the weight once your wearing the jacket. Do you know Klim offers a military/first responder discount, really helps with the price.

      @maraudermitchelli  6 місяців тому +1

      I'm a retired first responder...I didn't know that. This jacket has exceeded all my expectations...you have to keep moving in the warm weather or she gets hot. Thank you be safe. BTW the helmet is great!!!

    how you like the jacket so far? should i pull the trigger? I am just worried out flordia humid heat down here

      This jacket is amazing...just amazing! But big but I've never worn it during the summer. Big Rock Moto says their great during the summer but only if you're moving say 30mph as they rely on air moving through the vents. Klim has some other jackets which are fully armored and the entire fabric ks breathable. I'd recommend you speak with local riders and shops and ask their opinion. Again I'm thrilled with this jacket, I feel very protected when I wear it.

      @@maraudermitchelliThank you for that I went with the induction pro should get here in the next few days. I think touring and longer trips i will go with the badlands to protect me from unexpected showers and rainfall and climate changes through the states.

      Frank it is a very heavy jacket. I wore ballistic body armor for 20 years so the weight doesn’t bother me. This jacket has exceeded all expectations, it feels like body armor which is great in the wind. I will post videos with the jacket on riding on the bike. Thank you for commenting…btw it took me several months to pull the trigger on this jacket it’s expensive but safety comes at a cost sometimes 🤨
