Good guns/ammo/health/armour and pray that noose and fib don't come too much and I'd say that staying in the middle of the map could be better because it's easier to navigate and easier to memorize compared to the other islands

Well those types of trains are all gone now. The only way is to go steal from the Ohio scrapyard lol. The R32 cars they were well the newer slash older retired models the R38s were modeled as the ones in the game.
