In reality you can just use the tunnel from Staunton Island to shoreside Vale they after a certain mission the barier blocking Portland from Staunton gets moved to the Shoreside value section so he could've driven through there

I remember figuring out that bridge jump in GTA 3 years ago in the days before UA-cam when I was just a kid. Felt like the coolest thing back then to explore that locked island. Also found out in San Andreas that you can use a train to break the map lock. Jack a train heading to Las Ventura’s from LS and get it up to maximum speed where it’s about to derail and the screen is shaking like crazy. When the train approaches the bridge to Las Venturas the game normally forces it to stop preventing you from crossing. When your at maximum speed on the verge of derailment the train if done right won’t stop in time and will get passed the programmed stopping point allowing you and the train to continue clipping through the barriers.
Yeah. But you get a wanted level if you cross the border with the train in San Andreas. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Although I've managed to drive around all 3 islands several times with the train and no one could stop me, no matter what. 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃
When I was young I actually used to think there was a storm in vice city and I thought the bridge was haunted, and I never got past death row mission when I was small so I always used cheats to go to the other side of the island Nostalgia hits hard man! Nice video blaze!
Death Row happens after all islands are open. 'Four Iron' opens Leaf Links. 'Guardian Angels' open Starfish Island. 'Phnom Penh 86' opens Vice City West.
@@Dumpy332 you can unlock western side of vice city by doing avery carrington's last mission as well but you also need to unlock starfish island because if you don't you won't get the last mission until you unlock the starfish island
@@FadenBlues AFAIK, 'Two Bit Hit' has no role in unlocking western side of vice city. It is unlocked when 'Demolition Man' and 'Phnom Penh 86' are completed. Phnom Penh 86 unlocks the Western Island. So all islands are already unlocked when we get 'Two Bit Hit'. However it unlocks Havana outfit and spawns a unique vehicle called Romero's Hearse .
I was very surprised how easy the GTAIII one was, that was my first GTA experience back then I was just kinda using it as a freedom driving sim and I remember I wanted to go to the other side to and just said "yea thats impossible". No glitching, no hacks or cheating or exploits just simply jumping to the other side.
It was difficult on ps2. I tried it that way and i died so many times because of how difficult it is to make claude face that specific direction. Pc versions of gta 3 and vc just made the game incredibly easy (with the m16 and minigun in 3 and vc respectively). When i played the ps2 version, i played the game the way the rockstar originally envisioned the game’s difficulty to be.
Another cool way to get to the second island in gta 3: Get a car and drive to the north west shore, right about where the tunnel would go into the water, park as close as possible to the edge of the water (driver side of the car pointing towards the water) and get out of the car. You should clip through the water and fall on top of the tunnel, head west until you get to the cross section of the tunnel and jump of the tunnel, you should spawn near the hospital of the second island. Did that to do the import export missions after the first mission
I actually liked parts of the map being locked until you reached a certain part of the game. Even in gta 5 with the whole map accessible from the start I never went to Sandy shores until Trevor unlocked

Fun fact: If you use ROCKETMAN in gta sa while cj is in crash car at beggining, not just islands unlock, but missions mess up, and everything is unlocked from beggining of the game, e.g stores, barbershops
Allow me to piggyback this comment. Enable the ROCKETMAN cheat during the in-game cutscene when Tenpenny & co drive you around LS before they drop you off. If you die after the cutscene ends, that means it worked.

4 star wanted level where enforcers and cops chase you. I tried to survive 6 star wanted level in childhood without invincibility mod died at 5 star, got killed by the fbi in gta vc,gta sa,gta lcs,gta vcs,gta4 dies at 6 star after 1 minute.

In GTA 3 if you have a Banshee or A cop car you could fly over the gap between the bridge but the main point is that you car will start to float in middle part so you need to manage your speed
Not GTA or video related but RDR2 actually has Guarma as a solid piece of land outside the chapter. It's a small distance on the outer part of the map and seems to be what surrounds it. This is a surprise because areas that you leave permanently in games normally just fall you right through. Yes Guarma isn't actually like all dense forest and everything but it is solid and is actually a part of the map and that's what counts. I found it using a trainer's teleport options. I didn't expect much
In GTA III, it's easier and faster to drive through the Porter Tunnel, only the Portland entrance is blocked off, the Shoreside Vale roadblock appears after unlocking Staunton

8:55 it's happened with me in the game too. Not only roadblocks but also all the shops including clothes tattoo parlors food shops etc are unlocked along with Mad Dogg Cribs and also the Vagos Hideout using the code ROCKETMAN in the cutscene .
For me it was fun getting to the second island in San Andreas cause I would always go get the monster truck and try to survive before I discovered there was cheat codes in the game back then 😂

Gta 4 is easiest in terms of crossing locked areas and unlocked ones. I have seen it personally. Only exploration is possible. But to have mission markers and missions there, we have to do missions in the given unlocked area first.
And btw, this is true that Niko gets 6-star wanted level. But it does not matters much as we can dial the cheat code from our phone. This wanted level stuff never happened ever to me. I went to Bohan and Algonquin without doing missions but there was nothing much to do there if missions are not completed in Broker.

14:20 in GTA VCS there is another way, a more not so evident way: if you go near the airport/military base near a road there is an uncovered pipe and if you jump on it (you may have to try several times) you will be teleported to the other island. When I accidentally came up on this I was so socked, didn't know that game was actually so much more bigger XD

What I always did to get to the locked island in vice city was that I used the cheat that turns your car into a boat and I just drove straight to the port
To cross the first island in GTA III I used the invincible/stretch car bug and pass through the tunnel walls. To pass to the third island in Liberty City Stories, I managed to get through the floor, by glitching in the boxes behind the stairs where Claude first hideout it. The one with the pick up. Find all those by accident and I wanted to tell someone for a while but no one cares about a glitch in those games. haha

Great video. I never knew about any of these methods to get to the locked islands. I usually just did the story until the islands were unlocked. If they do release a remaster of the GTA Trilogy I will try these methods out.
After getting to Staunton in GTA III, the Porter Tunnel to Shoreside Vale can be seen open. We can just use that to go to Shoreside without any hassle.
In GTA 3, once you're on Staunton Island, you can also use the tunnel to get to Shoreside Vale, because the tunnel is only blocked off from Portland. The tunnel is further closed, if you progress storywise to Staunton Island.

Nope it won't go through, i tried it, for some reason the train stopped itself to the closed bridge.

My first PC game was GTA Vice City in 2010 or 2011. I was so much Addicted to it & I used to play it whole day. It's luxurious environment got me!❣️ Then I got GTA 3 & I thought that it's a new GTA Game.
Same thing for me but reverse, along with playing on a PS2, so I'm happy to say I'm correct about thinking Vice City was newer.
The graphics of Gta 3 are much worse than Gta Vice City and the variety is very less. How did you think Gta 3 is a newer game than Gta Vice City?

In VC i personally like the bridge glitch up north at the movie studio. You have instant access to a helicopter on the other side

Not only roadblocks but also all the shops including clothes tattoo parlors food shops etc are unlocked along with Mad Dogg Cribs and also the Vagos Hideout using the code ROCKETMAN in the cutscene .

Gta 4 is easiest in terms of crossing locked areas and unlocked ones.
I have seen it personally.
Only exploration is possible. But to have mission markers and missions there, we have to do missions in the given unlocked area first.
And btw, this is true that Niko gets 6-star wanted level.
But it does not matters much as we can dial the cheat code from our phone.
This wanted level stuff never happened ever to me.
I went to Bohan and Algonquin without doing missions but there was nothing much to do there if missions are not completed in Broker.

I really like how you don't get a wanted level in the old games. It made me go for collectibles early on to get the good stuff en be overpowered when playing missions.

@@Xxbdc99xX fair enough, I specifically meant gta 3 and vice city. Even on san andreas it's possible during the early mission "drive by" which disables wanted levels.

14:20 in GTA VCS there is another way, a more not so evident way: if you go near the airport/military base near a road there is an uncovered pipe and if you jump on it (you may have to try several times) you will be teleported to the other island.
When I accidentally came up on this I was so socked, didn't know that game was actually so much more bigger XD
It works only on psp or ps2 as far as I know. But worth trying it.

What I always did to get to the locked island in vice city was that I used the cheat that turns your car into a boat and I just drove straight to the port
I did the same. The cheat was 'seaways'

To cross the first island in GTA III I used the invincible/stretch car bug and pass through the tunnel walls.
To pass to the third island in Liberty City Stories, I managed to get through the floor, by glitching in the boxes behind the stairs where Claude first hideout it. The one with the pick up.
Find all those by accident and I wanted to tell someone for a while but no one cares about a glitch in those games. haha

when you enter Locked Island you'll automatically get 4 Star Wanted

Great video. I never knew about any of these methods to get to the locked islands. I usually just did the story until the islands were unlocked. If they do release a remaster of the GTA Trilogy I will try these methods out.

After getting to Staunton in GTA III, the Porter Tunnel to Shoreside Vale can be seen open. We can just use that to go to Shoreside without any hassle.

I didn't know the "Danger Hurricane warning No access across bridge" sign from Vice City was reused in San Andreas but just without the "Hurricane"
I think san andreas didn't have a hurricane it had an earthquake in San fiero as an excuse to block off borders

In GTA 3, once you're on Staunton Island, you can also use the tunnel to get to Shoreside Vale, because the tunnel is only blocked off from Portland. The tunnel is further closed, if you progress storywise to Staunton Island.

Alternately, you can just ride the train - the only blocked station is Portland until you officially unlock Staunton
