@@FBugle Also alot, there's Btrs, bmps and t-72s. With many troops from both sides dead. It's one hell of an armored graveyard in that village but in the end Russia controls that village now.

When german soldier abandoned their tanks they had to destroy them. Not only to protect knowledge falling into the hand of the enemy but to make it impossible to be used against the own troops. But what do you expect from "soldiers", picked off the streets of Kiew and forced to fight brothers. I wished Russia didnt leave Germany in the dirty hands of the US.. they should have insist on a neutral reunited Germany. The heartland of Europe is geographicaly too important to be a part of a military block. I think we wouldnt be at this point like we are now.

not really, I'm American and the only way it would be embarrassing is if any classified technology was recovered by the Russians from the tank, but since that tech was removed and replaced, then it's not much of a problem. The only useful information they'll get out of it is being able to analyze the design for it's strengths and weaknesses.

@@Hilltycoon Not accurate. Abramz were delivered in Ukraine yet for a long time, they never showed on the battlefield. It was only a few weeks back that they did and then the vids of there destruction started popping up. Afterwards, they were withdrawn or something since we nolonger see footage of them.
Currently it was officially revealed that Ukraine was told to withdraw the abramz from the front. Google it. The 5 or 6 we know of were the ones brave enough to face the russians. The rest are in the back hiding.

I doubt the countries assisting ukraine ignored the possibility of tech transfer through battle losses. Most likely basic versions of the vehicles without the sensitive tech parts in use by originating forces, export versions of vehicle technology exists everywhere.
