- Hello everyone, its been awhile since I posted and just played catch up on all the crazyness going on in titanicus. While I keep working on some more in depth content I figured I would drop a kind of vlog or my thoughts on the concept of armigers in the game!
I hope you enjoy, it's good to be back, and for sure leave your comments bellow!, this is a very weird and interesting unit to be adding to the game, its sure to shake things up I would dare say more then the Warmaster titan.

I think the purpose for the resin knights is to keep releases coming for Titanicus. It seems like they are only doing 1-2 plastic kits a year for it and with the occasional forge world release it shows people that the game still exists.
At least there is only like one or two more knights they can make after this. Castellan’s and it’s variants and more variants of the questoris. Hopefully the next release is a new Titan.

There should be mixed unit actions that make these armigers essential for certain mission along with infantry be they campaign or narrative!
It’s all about fun immersive rules and fun immersive missions! Do it GW I’ll buy these in a heartbeat

I am quite happy to see these guys because it shows that adeptus titanicus is willing to give all of the Walkers a spotlight. Some people may hate some of the newer mechs, but it shows that the game cares enough to add models that may not be the most useful but are part of titans and knights as a whole. There are plenty of 40k units that are fun and cool looking and suck bolter on the table. The point of titanicus is to let the average joe get his hands on titans without selling his house and having a game that makes you feel like you are actually in a big stompy robot. I do hope that we get xeno titans, but I think it is important to not turn the game into a meta hell landscape like modern 40k.remember It doesn't matter if you lost the battle. If you had fun, you won the war.

Speaking of too many knights, i kinda hope we see the punisher titan, my inner jeff wayne is screaming for grimdark tripods!
I feel there are too many FW knight releases, making it too expensive to collect a varied knight force. For example, I'm simply not paying £40 for an Asterius when a Porphyrion works out at £15.
Despite it's abysmal price, I payed the money for FW Asterius and I don't regret it. The model is much bulkier than Porphyrion and is the most beautiful Knight model for AT so far. I would much rather buy it in GW plastic though.
@@skywatcheradept To be honest I haven't moaned about the FW releases up until now. There seemed to be an understanding where FW handles the "mechanicum" knights, which are niche'n'fancy alternatives to the plastic knights. Even the Moirax armigers seem fair game as they too are mechanicum knights.
Seeing the ordinary armigers( helverins and warglaives ) as resin kits at £32 suggests otherwise; all knight releases are going to be resin going forward.
@@stevenray8737 Dang it I just pre-ordered the Moirax knights too. Hope to place them next to a Warmaster to grasp the magnitude of the scale.

Not sure what I think about these things. I'm pretty certain the ardex defensor cannons will just decimate them. They will probably be used as a flanking unit. I'm like you I was hoping for some xenos titans.
Honestly, as excited as it makes me for epic, I dont feel like they're a good fit for AT. They're either going to be primarily used to pad out your activations on heavy titan lists if they're not auxiliary, or used in a similar way to cheap questoris units: pushed up a flank using cover and meant to get behind enemy titans and wreak havoc under void shields. It doesn't matter that thier Thermal Spear only has 8" range when they've slipped under your voids, and S8 fusion in your rear is pretty fatal pretty quickly to most things. I get the feeling that they'll be dirt cheap, made of damp toilet paper and hope, and will still kick like a mule. All in all: they'll probably be pretty damn obnoxious and fairly omnipresent as a cheap, effective activation.

Yeah we need more titans (I want the Imperator). And yeah I think they should "swarm em" to make them more easier to use and model.
I would love to see Chaos, Eldar, and Ork titans. All legit in Heresy era.
Very true, actually eldar titans are mentioned in the traitor book under one of the legion write ups
I wonder if they will bring out a knight household compendium that these will be in?
Like the household box set in the past? that would be a great idea
@@voidstofull578 I meant that hopefully they will bring out a household book like the traitor and loyalist book that has the rules compiled for the knight households.
Having the armigers in there would be good.
But having said what you just said. A new knight battlegroup box with loads of these little guys in would be awesome.
With any luck these will be cheap enough in game and economically that I can realistically get a load of them.

Yeah you can file Armigers under "huh?" for me as well. Dont get me wrong I love it. But holy crap would I love a move toward Epic. Please please please!
REALLY looking forward to some Traitor Legio reviews, even if you tell me a starting player shouldn't choose the Legio I've chosen.
I would never tell a player not to use any legion! this game is insanely balanced any legion has a shot at pulling off a win. I usually look at a rule set and try building lists around getting the most out of legio rules and even then a play style my not work where another may be amazing with the same rules. So regardless of what's said you choose a legion for reason. Even if its weak in comparison, I would say stick with it and then you start unlocking the subtleties and then you really start taking people off guard! I hope a bring a fresh opinion to your legion when it comes up.
