This looks sooo good! Blueberry pie is one of my childhood faves too, but we just made the crust from 1 part meltet butter, 1 part sugar and 2 parts flour. I just subbed vegan margarine, and now it's vegan :D

My favourite desert growing up was the traditional Polish apple pie, my grandma used to bake this and her cheesecake every other week, I kind of miss it not gonna lie I probably should veganise it someday. My other favourite food of all time was always the traditional chicken broth that we used to have almost every sunday.

Caitlin, the blueberry pie was extraordinarily delicious! Suggestions: do not use tinfoil with heat, the aluminum seeps out into the food, and it’s not good for the brain.Flaxseeds need to be ground, so the body can absorb them.

I always make my own so it's dairy free, but I'm thinking about switching out the brown sugar with coconut sugar to make it healthy! Hopefully it turns out alright! One of the things I really loved was those cute little tarts with the fruit on top! Can you veganize that and make it healthy? :)

Search for "Blueberry Cake (vegan)" by Peaceful Cuisine. It is made with agar-agar, I tried it, turned out great!
Or just make it with cornstarch, little bit of water and blueberries (cook it in the pan first)

why bake it with a weight on the pie crust? :) I never had a pie with the criss cross on top but always wanted to make it! Yummmmm
if you don't weigh down the pie crust, it doesn't keep it's shape and the sides sink down :( been there, done that :P
