I adored this entire video- from dropping the apple peel to sitting down and eating it together while chatting about memories and comfort. Glad you take joy in your neighbor's routiness.
Your relatonship with food is amazing and I wish I had one like that. You're not like health freak, but also not a junk food regular eater. Just in the middle, perfect balance.
I loved the casual feel of the ending, love learning more things about you as well as the recipes, feels a bit more friend-like 😊 also I live in the UK and I recently discovered canned pumpkin on the lastest video so im soooo exited for more pumpkin recipes!!!
Yesssss to everything apple cinnamon right now! I just put a lil something like this on top of my pancakes AND oatmeal yesterday morning! I mean, it's still 90+degrees farenheit here in Florida, but we can pretend!
Made this, again last night and used vegan butter instead of coconut oil. The butter yielded much better results. Actually got the oats and brown sugar to have that crispy crumbly texture. Such an easy to make and super delicious recipe.
Thanks for this great recipe Liv! I had everything on hand, so just made it. I used coconut oil, but when I incorporated with the oats they didn’t clump up. I thought maybe once it baked it would get crispy, but no such luck. I think the vegan butter is key. The apples and oats were delicious, though just not crumbly. I will attempt to make this again.
I am definitely going to make this for Thanksgiving. A tasty vegan dessert that my non vegan family members enjoy always piques their interest in my lifestyle. And makes for a pleasant conversation. Thank you for sharing yet another great recipe!!
Am keen to make this. My partner loves apple crumble and this is the easiest recipe I have seen for it (they're all so complicated). Thanks a mill for sharing this recipe 😁 take care lovely lady 😊
Thats looks so yummy! I want some now! Guess I better run to the grocery store to get the apples!(Im going to pick apples this weekend)Thanks for sharing!
Ahh I love this recipe! I've gotten so tired of eating oatmeal and was going to make my go-to oatmeal waffle recipe (I mean I probably will still), but this is great to shake things up.
Making this recipe right now, I’ll update on how it turns out! Edit: It was very good! I kept it in an extra 10-12 minutes so the oats got really crispy, but the sweetness is very nice! Only if I had some ice cream😭 thanks for the recipe.
Tips for people making this: Make sure to use the right kind of apples. I used whatever random kind I found at the store and they did not soften well, a little too crispy. Google which kinds are good for apple crisp or just use Cortland like in the recipe. If you use coconut oil, mashing with fork may not really work. I had to just use my hands, even though I hate doing that. As for all the people asking "can I do X instead?" You can do whatever you want, just use some common sense. If you don't use sugar, you will probably want to sweeten it in some other way, try maple syrup or something (although that will add more liquid and taste different). For everyone complaining about oil being unhealthy, this is a dessert. Not everything has to be a health food, just get over yourself or use nut butter if you want, just know it will taste very different and not like the traditional recipe. Use some common sense and you can alter it however you want.
you should make a vegan creme brulee! It was my favorite dessert before I went vegan and I would love to know how to make a vegan one so I can still enjoy it :)
Your hair deserves its own UA-cam channel. 😁
hahaha
I feel the same way. Very lovely
That could be dadaist.

This recipe is so easy and tastes amazing! I've made it twice already 😭😭😭
I call that an Apple crumble, anyone else?
If you like Apple you should try rhubarb, it’s amazing!!!
The difference between crumbles and crips is about oats. Crips would contain oats in the topping and crumbles would not… But both are amazing!!!
Rhubarb crumble with custard is so delicious. I haven't had it for years!
Your the person that introduced me to veganism 🙃 I can proudly say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made
