    Betting at 7 months if he was using it consistently, that thing would be toast. The fire will eat away at that thin metal.

      so who uses a camping kit for 7 months - consistently? xD like does anyone? was that your plan? - like for a camping kit - how many camping trips before this, melts away due to thin metal? xD like a 7 month long one?.. lol.. you just wanted to complain, didnt you? :) well done.. if i kept rereading you comments for 7 months straight, its going to give me a seisure.. see? doesnt mean i can invent that problem and make it real xD that just makes me a douche

    16:07 Holy steampunk! It sounds like it's about to overheat and start popping apart, and then this happens! Raw heat right there at your fingertips. Really like how the secondary air adds so much to the top of the flame.

    If this were welded, it would be awesome 👍
    As an aircraft mechanic, I cringe at how people misuse drills on UA-cam.
    You mentioned this is a concept stove, so while it might be missing a few details to be actually used in a tent, the design is very good. It almost seems it works too good.
    De-tuning it a bit and adding seals would be perfect.
    I’m quite impressed with the finished product considering the materials used to build it. Great choice of materials.
    I’m curious about the marinade 🤔

    there is a way of firing two very low powered beams of microwave and crossing the beams within a Pyrex glass orb filled with a certain mix of gasses you get a tremendous amount of heat from a very tiny input. in the future all light bulbs will have a very simple design based on that design so no more burning wood when you are out camping unless you see the romantic side to it, it is a very cool video and thank you for your content.

    Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. In addition to reinforcing interior with heavier metal consider the adding 10mm cement board or fire bricks. Cement board will moderate and store some heat while buffering metal on back wall opposite window and above exhaust layer.
    If you are planning to use in a tent during winter, bricks or stone around the exterior will absorb heat and dissipate slowly over time. In addition, if you are planning on tent use be sure to add a fireproof gasket between joints to retard carbon monoxide from escaping into your tent enclosure. I agree with others, you ought to arrange drop shipping the air vents and window assemblies to those of us without your access connections.
    Wishing you and your family peace, health and happiness as the pandemic continues to evolve. Stay safe and continue your creative journey. Greetings from NE Ohio, USA. Bless you brother.

      Thanks Frank. I seriously considering making a DIY kit for this kind of stove but I found that machining costs far above the line. I think it is because of the shape of the stove. I will try to find a way to reduce the costs. M-Stove with some modification I prefer! Thanks.

    • @campingtogether
      @campingtogether  3 роки тому +11

      Thank you. It was an interesting experiment. The secondary combustion flame was clearly observed. This means that incomplete combustion wood gas remained inside, and by supplying additional air thereto, a fire storm was created. This fire moved into the fire passage through the upper part of the front. By placing space under the combustion chamber, I think the combination of heated primary combustion air, fire rise, and secondary air has created this powerful firepower.
