  • Today I’m sharing a set of vibrant thrift store side tables painted in a new-to-me Yellowstone paint. I had a few oopsies with this makeover. My original plan didn’t work but it stretched me out of my comfort zone which is always a good thing. I can’t wait to hear what you think of this restyled set!

I know everyone has their preferences but for me, your videos are perfection! You explain things well, know how to laugh at yourself and are thorough without spending too much time on each step. I look forward to your videos every week!

I wonder if you could use clear epoxy to repair the chipped corner, similar to the way you use Bondo on wood, maybe the kind used to repair automotive windshields. 🤷‍♂️

Why not just put the transfer on the other side of the glass? That way you could use them as side tables. Anyway they turned super cute!

Turned out great! One option for the glass top would be to remove the glass and replace it with wood of some type and stain it. I used pallet wood on an end table once. I sanded the wood and it happened to be oak, then stained it dark.

Thanks Chris and ya, great idea. I'll be putting these tables back into my inventory and they may get an entirely NEW look down the road. Enjoy your weekend. :)

Can't you put the glass upside-down? Or won't the design show up properly?

I thought the same thing but no, the transfer doesn’t look great on the backside.

Why not replace the glass with a piece of wood, or maybe some rattan?

I could do that! For the blog post though, the giveaway was being published with the 5 other talented ladies and I was on a time crunch. It was a lesson in creative pivoting...lol
