- Ukraine's Defence Ministry has released a video showing how the American multiple-launch rocket systems HIMARS are stored and reported that not a single HIMARS system has been destroyed yet. In a high-octane video, a masked soldier calling himself "Captain HIMARS" mocks Russia’s repeated claims that it has destroyed many HIMARS. Even IF some HIMARS were destroyed, the amount of damage caused by them easily outweighs their value. There are currently nearly 1000 HIMARS as we speak - if 20/30 HIMARS caused so much havoc for Russian, can you imagine what 100, 200 HIMARS would do?
Actually, the main limitingfactor is not the HIMARS, but the GMLRS rockets it fires - 1 single HIMARS can shoot over 50/100 in a single day.

I used to work around exploding C-4 detonations, land mines, shaped charges, line clearing mine charges and never flinched around explosions there's no reason to if you were in the wrong place when something exploded it didn't matter you'd be dead. What about the m270 MRLS batteries? Are they just as accurate as the HIMARS?
Same missile, so yeah, Just a different launch platform. M270 is slower but carries more missiles. Not sure how the shoot and scoot times compare, but that's probably the stat that matters most.
