Kevin! I did all these steps to clean my capping station and assembled everything back together following your steps. I also removed the printhead and did a reverse ink flush to clean my nozzles. I put everything back together and now when it’s doing a head cleaning there’s no ink showing in the capping station. Do I have to wait for ink to build up in the head or does it sound like I forgot something putting back the capping station?

I usually draw from the waste line, so the ink get into the nozzle sooner. I will have a video about cleaning the printhead later. Most people 1) press too hard 2) didn't flush long enough.

Kevin, Thank you so much. I used your video as a guide to change out my capping station for this regurgitation issue. I still have an issue though. While taking apart the printer to lift out the capping station, a ribbon came out in the back opposite side by the plastic gears. I don't know which direction to install ribbon and don't want to put it in backwards. It is the smallest of the ribbons and comes from top of the gears for the plastic wheel reader. Any help on this is appreciated. Thank you!

Nevermind. I got it working. Just connected it and it was wrong. It would print about 1/8 inch and spit paper out. I flipped it around and it works great now.

Hey Kevin. I’m trying to figure out if the capping station is my issue. When I pull ink through waste tank it appears to be just be black. No white ink.
My printhead is only a month old.

Hello is it ok if my capping station doesn’t have that foam thing ? Is necessary to have one ?

It could be just clogs, but if lines are vertical, it could be the clear belt. Also, it could be the capping station, or debris on carriage return, or the printhead is not set evenly, or the printhead is not screwed down.
