Good stuff my brother. My girl being doing vinyl & talking about sublimation. I think I'm gonna set her up with this & bc u dropped this knowledge for free, we're buying supplies from u & using your affiliate links for hardware. Good deeds deserve rewards.
My husband just got me this printer for my Christmas present, your video is one of the best I came across on how to convert to DTF printer, thank you so much for the detail and even going through the software installs, because of this video I did subscribe to your channel and plan to look into your products as well. I would highly suggest this video for anyone wanting to convert this printer, it is not just adding the ink and you are ready, as shown in this video it is a process, I haven't printed on it yet, would like to watch a couple more "how toos" first. Thank you again for this video!!!!
On my way to the store to pick up my printer After watching this step by step tutorial I have so much confidence in myself. Big Thank You!! I will keep you updated on the outcome
#replay. I just watched this video and I must say that this is the first time I’ve seen a video that makes converting a printer for DTF so simple and easy to follow along. I’ve done HTV and sublimation but everybody knows DTF is the way to go. I’m retired and live on a fixed income and the cost of a DTF printer is not in my budget, so l’ve started purchasing transfers but would like to do them myself. With this video and your E book help I think I can do this. Thank you 😊
This is by far one of the best videos. I followed this step by step and converted my Epson 8550 to DTF. It's simple and you explain thing perfectly. Now I will be trying your products. Thanks so much for making this video and helping me start my DTF journey.
You are an amazing human for sharing your knowledge. You will be rewarded 10 fold. And I don’t make clothes. I just felt it this was so genuine! ❤ Blessings to you.
Maaaaaan. Let me tell you. I was Hella scared to pull the rollers out. Onec I got the left side out. I was thinking this is going to easy. Yeah right. Once I took that first pull, my heart started racing. I was like, hear we go. This brother is living. I'm A need someone to do this. Lol. But after a few tries, I got it. Thanks fam.
Boss Thank you so much. I was just about to buy a DTF printer. Was scared to do this. I can do this. You are the best omg , may god continue to bless you and your business. Thanks Stay Blessed
I must say you are very detailed and helpful and you’re not trying to get paid off everything little thing. This is how you become prosperous in your endeavors. I’m going to be just like you when I get my business going. I appreciate all this and I’m going to support your business with buying your ink, products and consultations. Continue to be Blessed and Highly Favored. That was my name on FB for years lol 👍🏽
Okay so I'm converting my printer right now watching your video by the way thank you best video I watched on UA-cam. I just completed taking my rollers out yes I was very nervous😂
Thank you so much for this video!! My Hubby and started our business in January of this year and have decided to start printing our own transfers. After finding you on Tik Tok we decided it was something we could do!! Although I am nervous I am excited!! Found a brand new in the box Epson ET8550 for $240 today! Now to just convert it and wait for my starter kit I ordered from you!
No lie, I watched a 30 minute video and the whole time buddy was showing how to take the rollers out og an Epson 8550. I couldn't take too much more so I kept fast forwarding the video and literally at about 28mins he finally got the rollers out.... After watching the first part of your video I paused and it literally took me less than 5mins to remove the rollers from my 8550. I really appreciate your video it was very clear and simple and most of all it did not take you 30mins to remove the rollers, lol. - THANK YOU!
You are so informative. I almost didn’t buy this printer because we’ve had an industrial printer for a while for our business, but are no longer comfortable with the side effects of the powder and the oven in our home so we just wanted to small desktop one for off projects, and I almost Gave up on finding one until I found this video! You seem so nice and are so helpful and knowledgeable!
A Wonderful Video really super well detailed! A Huge Thank You to you, I am French and do not speak a word of English and I converted my Epson with automatic translation and Wow thank you ❤
@kristenpineda1836 What paper type did you select on the actual printer when you loaded your sheet? The print will ask the size and then the type of paper. He does not show this critical step in the video. I followed these instructions to the t but am getting smudges. Really bummed and regret purchasing this setup.
@@kristenpineda1836 Gotcha. I did follow that video to the tee, several time in fact…my printer still ask when loading the paper to tray, despite the settings applied to Cadlink. But thank you for replying. Wish mine worked right away like yours. You’re so lucky.
Excellent video!!!! Easy to follow and includes everything you need to set up!! I’m so happy I went with the option of converting the printer thank you!
I came across this video and was very intrigued! All I can say is Wow!!! your step by step instructions with such detail was amazing! I have (2) 8550’s for sub & inkjet, omg if I buy another one my kids are going to freak 😂 (if you read in the news that a 68 yr old Little Italian Nonna from Long Island NY was beaten by her kids you know it was ME! 😂) but I’ve always wanted to do DTF so I guess my Best Buy credit card is coming out of my wallet 😂😂 ummm Thank You I think 😂😂 but definitely Thank you for your fantastic video! 😊
This tutorial video was A1 - I was skeptical about buying the Epson 8550 but after watching your detailed video I pulled the plug. Thank you for being so thorough with your video. I have liked and subscribed to your page. God Bless you
OMG!!! This is awesome. I just set up my printer and software. The instructions were truly wonderful.. so I printed my first DTF image. too tickled. Even pulling out the roller wasn't too bad, I was more concerned with losing a screw. LOL Thanks so much!!
My brother thank you so much for this video I've been ordering desperately trying to figure out how I was going to be able to make my own then I ran across this video it's the best video I ran into and you explained it perfectly I just want to thank you and I will be ordering your products
Gday mate thanks for making this video. My wife bought thia printwr and wasnt sure about the conversion but after watching your video i was able to follow the steps very easily and do it for her even with zero prior knowledge. When she got everything sorted after watchong the video she printed her forst design and it was perfect straight away. She also downloaded your ebook which was also very helpful. Thanks again mate
Love the step by step instructions! Pulling out the roller was a daunting process and my heart skipped a little when doing it but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!
I appreciate you for taking the time to make this video. I converted my printer, and it was so easy to follow along with you. The roller was a little stubborn, though.😊 Thank you for helping DIYers like myself.
You are more than Highly Flavored, you are highly favored my brother thanks for your guidance... I belive in each one teach one and you gave teacher me well I'm indebted to you God bless you and yours.
Saw your Tictock about the CISS system you are taking preorders for. How will the conversion be different? Should I wait on converting my printer? How do I preorder?

I currently have this printer for sublimation and plan to add the exact printer for DTF separately. I will have 2 of the same printers for different uses on my drive. Thank you thought I wouldn’t be able to do it but your step by step made it so easy the only thing that scared me was pulling that piece out but it got done thank you
I really appreciated your video-thanks for the great content! I have a couple of questions regarding the Epson 8550 printer. 1. I currently have the original ink installed. What steps should I take to remove this ink and replace it with the custom color you demonstrated? For those who already own the printer, is there a specific procedure to flush the existing ink or should we simply print until it runs out? 2. Regarding the printer settings you adjusted on Windows, do similar adjustments need to be made for macOS? If so, could you provide guidance on how to do that? Thank you for your assistance!
WOW WOW WOW....I FINALLY GOT THAT DARN ROLLER OUT..I WAS SO AFRAID I WAS GOING TO BREAK MY PRINTER I WAS HAVING SUCH A HARD TIME GETTING THE RIGHT SIDE OFF...WOW..BUT THANK U FOR THIS VIDEO

I was sooooo nervous 😅 trying to take the rollers out.. I had to replay your video three times before I got the confidence to just tug a little harder. 😅😂
Hey, new to your channel. Really been thinking about getting a DTF printer. Now that I've seen u convert this printer I'm seriously thinking about getting this one. But my question is I've watched u convert this printer but now u have CISs. Will u b doing a video on that as well. Thks again for all your videos n teaching us what u know.
HI I have bought the EPSON 8550 and your bought your CISS do you have a video where it shows how to install the ink too? We have already installed the CISS to the side of the printer.
This was super super helpful. I am so grateful for this... I also got your eBook and let me just say I've had no issues with my first print etc..That's how good this Step by Step is🥰🥰 Much Appreciated! I did have installing issues BUT that was my computer settings😆 once fixed I was good to go!
Hi, thank you for sharing. I just got my printer. I do have an epson 2800 and it was pretty simple. The 8550 on the other hand is a bit more complicated. I noticed when you took out the roller it looked pretty easy but you didn't put back all silver screws do they all get put back?.
Thank you for your greatest video. I followed your intruction but the printer keeps jamming the film inside the printer when I used rear feeder. I testes on the copy paper OK. The other front trays works fine. I also put a tape on the film as your other video but it still jams. Please help. Thank you.
Reading is fundamental lol. I scrolled down and found my answer. Thank you so much for your video. I just completed setting up my printer did some prints have some smears. In the process of trying to correct those.
I have followed all steps and only getting alot of ink printing and running.. ..no white layer and smears....very frustrating...have no idea what I'm missing here. I saw you placed the same ink fillers I have -- saying the first two are white - but the labels say black lol where does the white come in at? I'm lost..sigh
😊 omg you are an amazing teacher. I have one question when I initially set up my sublimation ink I didn't purchase white..can I flush out and use white in first 2 tanks? Or is it to late😊
I have the printer and the CISS system. My question is do i still need to add ink in the printer in this steps or do I wait and just connect the CISS system 1st, add ink and do printer setup instead?
You just gained a subscriber brother 👍🏾 don’t stop doing these walk throughs, it’s actually so informative and a great reference 👍🏾 keep them coming please 🙏🏽 thank you for this video great job !
so you don't need a maintenance chip reset, to waterproof your print head or a ink waste tank? how long does the printer last by putting Dtf ink straight into it. i see people have a problem with white ink you didn't install a continuous white ink system?
Those are all great questions. So let me start with the first. It's not mandatory to do an extended waste tank but it is helpful in the long run. I have a video on how to do it. You don't need to water period your print head. My orginal has done over 1000 prints literally. And I guess that answers how long it last as well. Everything you mentioned can help improve experience but work property maintenance isn't necessary
I’m only watching for a little bit. I haven’t gotten into the meat of things however, I’m thinking I would’ve sold the Epson ink and gotten myself bottles that were already filled and ready to go on Amazon. It’s not that expensive that it’s worth your time to do this.
Unfortunately they don’t make dtf ink bottles that fit the epson or I’m sure everyone would. The tops will only work that that specific ink color on the 8550 printer so you don’t have much choice. I ordered the epson etf ink ready bottles and they don’t fit the 8550. Live and learn!
Hey brother...Nev here in Australia. Can I print after doing the conversion (with the new non archival EPSON Inks installed) on rice paper? I currently print logos and designs perfectly on. my ET 8550, BUT I need white down first. I would also like to use the same logos DTF on apparel etc of course. If I get white down first, are the DTF inks compatible to the stock EPSON prints, or are the chemically different and only to be used as DTF?
Guess who has a DTF Printer?
Yep
I do!!!!
Thank You for sharing your knowledge and allowing others the opportunity to be Entrepreneurs too.
Are you still liking it? I want to set mine up soon.

so i see 2 videos on these printers which is best the Epson Xp -15000 or the 8550?
Hows upkeep on printer any special dos or donts?
Yes grab ebook in my description
I have a new Epson ET 3850 i was going to convert to sublimation but i absolutely love dtf transfers. Can I convert the et 3850 to dtf printer?
The best an Simpified video for the epson convert
Thank you!
How do you set up the printer with the ciss instead of putting ink in the printer?
Can you use a 13” wide dtf roll for this Epson 8550? If so is there a setting for that in cadlink?
Yes under media setup choose roll
i see some people using a board to use for the print to print out on i guess so the film won't get stuck. Do you do the same?
Do I need parallels to run the program if I’m on a Mac or can I just download it from the same dropdown menu you chose from?
