But she can fly through the air. with her magic wand according to multiple sources and she did transfer Nessarose’s shoes to Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, so she does have magic of some sort
@@athenali4220 if you rewatch the scene in Wizard of Oz, you’ll see the shoes disappear from Nessa and appear on Dorothy, but the movie at least does not make it clear that Glinda is the one who makes the switch.
I think the fact that fiyero just is naturally drawn to elphaba is more heart warming than him having to have gone thru so much in his own life to see elphaba as attractive
Perhaps try looking at it differently. Because of the struggles he experienced and learned from this abled him to be more open and understanding of her as person because her struggles are part of what made her just as him and so he's attracted to her because he truly understands her on a level many couldn't. It's not just attraction it's also true acceptance, understanding, compassion and solace. He truly likes her for who she really is as a person and is a willing supporter for her true needs and concerns. Rather then superficial looks in a few seconds and hormones leading to interaction that build a bond.
Also I'm going to start some hard information that'll do you good if used right but it's concidered controversial like everything because it hurts some people's feelings. You don't want to rely on your looks because one day they're going to be gone and you'll have nothing to fall back onto because you never spent time working on and developing yourself. You look at an wrinkled hunch backed balding 90yr old woman and tell me that attractive and you honestly have sexual desires towards her? No you don't. Youth is beauty. Not every one is pretty but everyone will end up ugly. Need more then looks in life coz they're not going to last. Also there's nothing wrong with aging and becoming ugly it's a privilege you should embrace it with deep appreciation. The most tragic death is the forever young. Many tragically dont get the luxury and privilege of getting old and losing their looks. You want to get old and lose your looks because not achieving that is death.
I would so love to see Glinda being like HA! magic wands do NOT need A point, as she creates her wand with that bubble at the end and MANY points sticking out of it... xD
I would see some of those stuff you mentioned happening in the film before Dorothy comes to Oz, especially involving Nessa becoming the Wicked Witch of the East.
They should not cut off the scne when glinda do some magic when she almost destroy the bread maker when she found out that feyero is enlove with elphaba
I honestly prefer it off-screen. I hope they don't delve too much into the Wizard of Oz story line, if they do it's no longer Wicked. I hope Dorothy gets a bit more of an extended role than she gets in the play, but the Wizard of Oz stuff is best left in the shadows IMO
I had a dream I was watching Wicked part 2, and Elphaba appears and disappears in the red smoke and fire like in the Wizard of Oz, would be interesting to see if that happens lol
There is also a scene in act two that elphaba says to glinda." Wave your stupid wand glinda. But you cannot change the fact that feyero chose me over you"
Question: Why is it that very, very few people EVER reference the true source material, the novel? Tonight I’m going to see the film for the third time. (As well as watching it at home too many times. If you know what I mean.) I gave my gal the novel as an early Xmas present. We’ve been discussing my criticisms of the film, and she’s been filling me in on how wildly different the story on the page is from the story up there on the silver screen. There’s a great documentary out there about the journey from Maguire’s novel to the stage, to the screen. It’s something that every hardcore fan should watch.)
I think because like Ozians, people just love the more glamorous or "disneyfied" version of the book. Their characters were fleshed out better in the books especially Elphaba where she barely has any magic compared to her other classmates versus the musical where she has this hidden potential. Themes were also more controversial with more morally gray themes being explored and most major characters were not exempt from making morally gray choices
I like how the book shows Nessa becoming the Wicked Witch of the East... But in the play, *SPOILER*I think they didn't start calling Nessa the WITCH of the East until she shrank Boq's heart with magic
I mean she’s still not the villain even when it comes to Nessa’s death that was just supposed to bring Elphaba out of hiding which she only did after Elphaba kinda stole her man she didn’t know Morrible would kill her but they make up later
How can you say glinda is a villian she isn't. 😂 I like glinda and Elphaba but fiyero falling in love with Elphaba is just wrong I worship glinda and fiyero end of
Nessa is Not sweet, I never seen the broadway musical and I saw Wicked part one yesterday AND the day before that (I saw it two days in a row and I could see how Not sweet she was the first time, but could see it even more clearly when I saw it the day after) and I do NOT like her, she is not sweet, you can see it Clearly, so hearing that she will shrink Boq’s heart and become the wicked witch of the east is honestly not surprising to me, I had no clue until now (haven’t read the books or anything) but not surprised tbh, she wasn’t sweet, Especially against her own sister who she has seen being treated so badly by their father, she should know better, she doesn’t, it’s pretty clear (at least to me and to the people I watched it with) that she isn’t as sweet as she portrayed
Glinda didn’t make the bubble. You can see her pressing a button with her foot to create a bubble when she’s about to leave 😊
HA!
The wizard made the bubble
So will she end up having magic in part 2 ?

Nessa rightfully earned the title "Wicked Witch of The East" that's for sure.

I cannot wait for wicked part 2 😊
Same
I would like to see the transformations (you know the ones) they were both off screen in the play, the effects would be cool

4:00 nessa became wicked bc she wanted baq & he wanted glinda
In the 2nd Act of Wicked, the stage musical, there is an argument between Elphie and Glinda. Hopefully, we get to see magic from both.
this is what i’m reallyyyyyy hoping for. i want a real dramatic scene, real fight, them both using some sort of magic
Her powers is good luck, Thats why she makes bubbles! And she learned how to use her power more in the schools
I had a dream I was watching Wicked part 2, and Elphaba appears and disappears in the red smoke and fire like in the Wizard of Oz, would be interesting to see if that happens lol

Fiyero slays!
Im excited for
Wicked Part 2
I think this was a great video, ignore the weird hater comments

I watched wicked it is so good dying to see part2
Imagine that grace and Oliver from max and Ruby got kidnapped by the wicked witch of the east
yessss
Why does Ariana look like Jessica Alba in the thumbnail?
Wow, it is pretty bad that you can tell your clips you used, were 'Filmed in the theater with your phone....'
I have actually knocked someone's phone out of their hands for doing that in a theater. Oops!
@@RMCTootry not to do that next time
I knew Glinda was the villan when she says, "I hope ur happy" in Defying Gravity
I mean she’s still not the villain even when it comes to Nessa’s death that was just supposed to bring Elphaba out of hiding which she only did after Elphaba kinda stole her man she didn’t know Morrible would kill her but they make up later
I think ur mistaken she's not a villain she's just an anti hero
How can you say glinda is a villian she isn't. 😂 I like glinda and Elphaba but fiyero falling in love with Elphaba is just wrong I worship glinda and fiyero end of
@ameliahargreaves4342 just like how nessarose isn't a villain
Glinda rocks
I think Glinda never does produce magic. The bubble is a tik-tok mechanic. Is the Wizard’s “magic”.
I just finished watching wicked at home
So, there is an entire school of witchcraft, but only one witch in it?
Lol no
Maybe it’s enchanted I think maybe she has magic but not as powerful as Elpha

written and spoken by ai lol
anyone can come up with these words to say but i don’t think it’s a problem that ai was being used
Ai has been around for Centuries and its Just Now Being Released to the Public, no need to go on a Witch Hunt Lmao
It’s still not canon
And What Is ?
