Forscan milage correction, ford mondeo mk4/999999mls theory is wrong.

Hi fox in this video I have try to change the millage for a mk4 mondeo,using Forscan, only let you to increase the milage.
So was some wispers ho said if you change on instrument cluster the mileage at 999999 MLS and drive one more you will get 000000 MLS on the whach, I didn't manage to do so, in my opinion it's not working this theory.

No they do not go back to zero like analogue speedometer they stay at 99999999 and trip odometer stops registering but the ecu still holds actual mileage

you would need to enter 1609343 is 1mile short of a million some yrs will flip to 0 some will not. just do keep in mind the laws of rolling it back.

No,I've tried to go with the mileage high,and then drive 1-2 mile above the 999999 mils, should reset to 0000001,but won't work.
